Having recently moved to Columbia, we are so glad that relatives recommended Eastside Animal Hospital for Tippi s new vet. We couldn t be more pleased with the treatment she s getting now. Thank you!

Only issue I had was that I brought my dog for two teeth extractions and for some reason they trimmed his nails. He has his nails done with his grooming and didn’t need them done. Because they didn’t need to be done two of his back nails were done too short and bled most of the day. No one told me so I brought him home and noticed blood all over my living room rug. I checked his mouth and it wasn’t coming from there so I checked his paws and that’s when I noticed the blood was from his toe nails. I called and asked if his nails were done and was then told that yes his nails were done and that the nurse accidentally went too short. I wish someone would have asked me before they did it and I could have told them he didn’t need it. Could have saved him from having pain in his mouth AND foot and could have saved me from scrubbing blood off my white rug. I also didn’t appreciate that I wasn’t told until I called and asked. In the future I hope that I’ll be asked before a procedure is done, even if it’s free and that if a mistake is made that I will be told so I can keep an eye on it. Instead of waiting for me to notice and call.

Extremely happy with everything for my pet, who was in dire need of care due to prior owners treatment. She is now a very happy puppy! I am grateful for the staff s ability to take care of all her needs.

Please don t say that after my dog is neutered he will officially be an it. I understand that from a physiological standpoint, neutering de-sexes the dog. However, I have had this dog from a young pup and he is my baby. He will never be an it to me.

Everyone at Eastside is always so nice and always work around my busy schedule. They also have waited after hours when needed to make sure my pets get the care they need.

I have never seen as helpful and well run practice. Not in GA, AL, TX, and I really liked those vets! Great job!

The only thing I would suggest is going over the boarding fees more thoroughly. I called the day before my dogs scheduled arrival to get estimates and was quoted a price. Then when my husband dropped her off the price was increased by $100. I had to call and straighten everything out over the phone since I was not there with him. The things added were things that weren’t necessary for the stay but I will say she took it off and adjusted it for me after the call,

We have been pleased with the care our elderly cat has received.

The entire staff is wonderful! Dr Collier is straight forward and to the point, he doesn’t sugar coat anything which shows me that he cares and definitely has my babies best interest in mind. Thank you to Dr Collier, you’re amazing! Lacy and I appreciate you so much! Marcie Ibbotson

It is very expensive and I do not understand how it cost 2k to remove 4 teeth.

I appreciate how the staff is always welcoming and knowledgeable. The doctor gives recommendations that are reasonable knowing how busy life can get. Thank you for taking care of my animals.

Dr. Collier was very rude to me. I have brought my dog in before with similar symptoms (about 3mths ago) She is 9 years old and is a Yorkie with dental issues. The first time I brought her in to see him, it was an emergency situation as well. She had eaten a foreign/non food object and it was causing her to vomit blood and have diarrhea. He was so disturbed with her teeth issue he was having trouble talking with me about the real issue at hand. He had no idea, until I told him that I had already discussed her dental issues with Dr. DerryBerry. After the lab tests and x-rays came back ok (with the exception of being dehydrated from the vomiting). The same thing happened this visit. He came in and realized it was us and he starts going on a rant about how bad her teeth are. Then, he proceeds to get his pliers out of the drawer and yanks out one of her teeth. He didn t even get my permission and I was upset that he chose to do this in front of me and without discussing that she did not need anything to deaden it. I had no clue that it didn t hurt her until I asked him, which he proceeds to be even ruder by saying, if you didn t have a root on your tooth it wouldn t hurt either ! He kept looking in Lucy s mouth and pulls another tooth (again without my consent) and Lucy cried that time. I was furious! We will not be back to see him again. If we have another emergency situation and Dr. DerryBerry isn t there, we will seek out an emergency vet clinic. Dr. Collier made me feel like I don t take care of my dog or know how to. We are very protective of Lucy and never let her have treats or table food. She only gets her bowl of food and water each day. We have her groomed every 6 weeks and give her baths every other week, ourselves. We love her very much and when she hurts or is sick, we hurt with her. Dr. Collier s bedside manner has a lot to be desired. He may be a very intelligent vet and surgeon, but it is obvious he is lacking in people skills. He does not know how to speak to patient s owners respectfully. The staff and vet techs were great, as always. They were positive and kind to us. I have no complaint with anyone there besides Dr. Collier.

I think all of you are awesome. Thankyou for taking care of my little Bailey. He does get very nervous, but you all are so patient and sweet to him. I’m glad I found Eastside Animal Hospital.

I love all the feline friendly changes they have made. I knew my cat was in fantastic hands before, but the changes make it that much more. I also love the free vaccinations for life program.
