Dr. Kitchen and all of the staff were wonderful! Extra time and attention was taken to make sure that all issues were addressed and my questions answered. Abby reached out to me to see how Boda was doing, and Dr. Kitchen has emailed me with results and ideas. No other vet clinic in Pittsburgh has done any of these things! Thank you! Sandy and Boda

Service was fantastic, Doc was great, As was the tech gal. Only thing I didn’t like was Abby’s response when I called with an issue causing Olive pain, but the office QUICKLY remedied it and Olive is back to her happy self. I gave 5* on Ed Ruth g above, not sure if they registered

All of the staff were great. You can tell they love what they do.

It was our first visit. Loved the vet and the vet assistant!! The two girls at the front desk did not even say hello when we walked in, and it was a first visit! Then when we left they didn’t look up to say goodbye or thank you, or anything. So honestly the front desk people left me questioning my decision to switch my vet care. They should really be making a ‘fuss’ over the pets, and greeting your clients with a warm welcome and friendly goodbye. The vet and his assistant/tech were wonderful so we will be back!

Very happy with Step-Up! Great staff!

A step up has been taking care of my puppy since I’ve gotten her. Their practice is nothing but exceptional and they’re priced reasonably. I could never see myself using another clinic.

After stating our dog had been rubbing her right ear, no examination with a medical instrument was used until I requested it. Then the Vet had the assistant clean the dog’s ear finding a lot of stuff, ear wax and dirt. I feel the $13.20 ear cleaning was well worth it but don’t think I had to ask for it.

The staff at A Step Up have been awesome!! They really do care about your pet and make sure that your well informed both on the care your pet will receive as well as how much it will cost. Truly love this practice and staff!!

Great place & people to take excellent care of your pet

I do not like waiting in the car while my dog gets taken inside for treatment. It is stressful on the animal and I want to be in the room when shots are given or any treatment provided. Also, the last visit, I was asked for my credit car and a bill was not provided until I got the receipt. Also, there was a very long wait to be seen so I was sitting in the car with my dog for almost 45 minutes.

Dr. Stepusin has been such a wonderful veterinarian to our kitties and very kind to us, their human parents. We ve only seen Dr. Stepusin a couple of times, but everytime was a difficult situation. His knowledge, compassion, honesty, kindness and much more is helping us navigate difficult times once again. Thank you!!!

I just want to say I am so thankful to be at the practice. Dr. Kitchen is an excellent vet and always explains everything. She is very thorough and caring. The staff is always attentive and caring. All I can say is thank you and I always recommend the practice

I am very happy with Step Up Veterinary Clinic! They are so nice and so good with my 2 cats and my dog. The doctors and technicians are so helpful with any questions I have. They contact me to check on my cat that has Kidney Disease to see how she s doing. I would recommend them to anybody. My mother needed a new vet so she takes her 3 cats there now!
