It was a great visit and I m not complaining but did want to point out that I witnessed office staff arguing about prescriptions and dosages when I was waiting for the Doctor to come into the room. I heard this all behind closed doors and the Dr had to intervene and stop the argument. It didn t bother me but felt I should point it out, as the walls in the office do not block sound very well. Internal conversations that you don t want customers to hear, I would suggest happen in a different location. I clearly heard the argument and felt that maybe people didn t understand what to do (and what dosage to give their patients). The office visit other than that was exceptional without issue, I do appreciate the way you treat my dogs, which is the most important. Thank you.

Over my adult years I have been to several vets with different pets. Grace is the first with severe anxiety. A step up is the first place that is willing to work with her as her needs allow. Very kind and knowledgeable. I know my dog will not be fixed. That is not my want or expectation. Just to help ease up and take the edge off her anxiety in stressful situations. I truly believe I have met the people that can help do that. :)

I liked that the doctor called me to discuss lab results rather than a technician.

It is definitely the best office we have seen since moving to Pittsburgh. Max is very energetic, and they did a great job with him and were extremely patient with him!

Dr. Kitchen went over and above with Isabel and Rocky. She was so caring and personable with us and our fur kids!

I cannot thank everyone enough at A Step Up Veterinary Clinic for their phenomenal service... I had completely forgotten about my evening appointment and was embarrassed and angry at myself when I received a call from Amy at the office. She was understanding and willingly checked with the doctor to see if I could come in 30 minutes late. When I arrived, Amy was welcoming and gracious. John, the Vet Tech, immediately took me back to the cat room and was great with Timothy the cat, who historically has not been a cooperative patient. Dr. John Stepusin stepped in and was gentle, kind, patient and so very knowledgable. All in all, it was an excellent first visit and I cannot recommend A Step Up Veterinary Clinic more highly!

You were recommended to me by a friend and I would recommend you to everybody I know. your staff is friendly and courteous and willing to answer all questions and the doctors are wonderful and willing to spend the time to calm any concerns that a pet parent might have. and on top of all that wonderfulness your prices are very reasonable! I give you a clinic of five star rating!
