I waited in the exam room for 45 min before being seen. Then I waited another 25 min for the dr. This was the first time Ive experienced this kind of wait. Maybe it was just a bad day. Otherwise, I love your place!

The appointment was wonderful, Staff is very friendly and nice. Doctor was excellent. I did have to wait a really long time due to this big pittbull that came in and had major anxiety about being attacked or maybe it was more so the owner who had the anxiety but anyway staff did ask me if it was ok to take that dog back first and i was like ABSOLUTELY! I could see him just snacking on my dog in no time. The only issue I had was that the entire staff had no clue what the 3 different puppy plans included or what was charged and not charged. They couldnt answer any of my questions. I bought it but am still unsure of what it includes or if I even picked the right one. They said they had no training on it. I was confused because how can they sell it if they dont have the proper training or knowledge to present it. Im waiting on a call with more info about the plans. I went with gold but may want platinum depending on the answers to my questions.

I understand that several days before I made my appointment that several employees were out due to illness. I just wanted to say how disappointed I was with the brief phone conversation I had when I made Gandalf s appointment, regardless of the fact that you were short staffed. Whoever was on the other end of the line suggested my cat may have a tick and I should remove it immediately, even though I said it was flesh colored and it was very unlikely that it was a tick. The reason I brought Gandalf in ended up being a skin tag, which would have ended in disaster if I tried to remove it. In the future, if you are short staffed, I d prefer you just let me know than ramble off a quick fix that could ve seriously injured my animal. I did get an apology message via Facebook from a doctor later that evening, but it could ve been too late by then.

The staff members are genuinely the best.

Everyone was very nice to me and my dog. They were very helpful and patient in answering all of my questions. Overall, I was extremely happy with every aspect.

We have moved an hour away from your office recently. We are going to continue coming to your office because we love it there so much! We feel that our dog is valued and our concerns are valid even though they may be a “dumb question”.

The visit was so easy and quick both myself and my dog were happy!

We are very disappointed and feel that we were misled. When our pet was treated for an ear infection we were told to schedule a follow up and that there was No charge for a follow up. After the follow up appointment we were charged over $60 for that recheck. I did not want to cause a scene but I did let them know I was surprised by the charge. I called to ask why we were charged and I was told it was not explained clearly, that there was no charge to see the vet but there was a charge for the ear swap and additional drops. Saying it was not explained clearly is an understatement. No charge seems very clear and charging over $60 was not reasonable without discussing it with us prior to doing it. We explained when we were at the original appointment that we were on a very tight budget so this surprise was more than unreasonable.

The staff at A Step Up is phenomenal. We love them - but most importantly, our dog loves them!
