I have always been treated well at the Winthrop vet. Everyone is friendly and easy to deal with. I absolutely love Dr Mary Sheridan and Dr Shannon Bennett. Highly recommend this practice.

I called because my dog was exhibiting the signs of HGE, offered an appt in 6 hrs- when I explained my concerns I was offered a drop off appt . I brought my dog right over, she was taken in promptly and blood work and IV fluids were started quickly. The vet called me with explanations and she was allowed home that evening after improving. I was given an appt the next morning for recheck, all done promptly. Again, wonderful communication from the vet! The techs that came out to my car to get my dog were kind and it was obvious their love of animals. It’s so hard not to go in with our babies when they are so sick- but all the staff worked very hard to reassure me. Excellent review- excellent facility and staff.

Emily was the tech that dealt with Lexi. She was wonderful. So full of life and didn t mind carrying Lexi in when I told her she wouldn t walk on a leash. She s heavy and long so we find her hard to carry. Emily seemed warm and kind.

The only reason why it wasn’t easy to get in is because it was an annual exam and we had to wait over a month for an appointment. Everyone is great at Winthrop Vet...

I have worried about a dog that I rescued not having protection from flea and tick and heart worm, for well over a month because I could not get an appointment for so long. I have been bringing my pets here for years, so I am not a new patient. I have always like this establishment but I felt frustration with this issue. Now it will cost more to get tested for these diseases that my dog was negative for and hopefully he will test negative for these nasty diseases.

Last year I think I received a report card for my pet. Recently there was no report card, just the account of what was done and schedule of what will be needed next. I d like to know my dog s weight and any other comments the vet would have made if I had come in with him. Or could we wait in our vehicle but come in with our pet?

I would like to go in with my dog. I will ware a mask I have been completely vaccinated.

Even despite Covid protocols, I felt heard, understood and valued. The staff go above and beyond to show compassion and love for my dogs.

We appreciate the staff so much! Dr. Bryant did amazing work with our puppy s elbow surgery! So grateful!

We love the staff and the excellent care our pets get everytime we go there. With three dogs it seems like we spend a lot of time there and we have had such great care in not only the good times but at times when we had to make some very tough decisions. They feel like friends not just veterinarian s.

The vet I had was completely amazing. Some of the people that answer the phones are so rude and it always seems like you’re bothering them for them to answer the phone.

It took me over a month to get an appointment. Not happy about that.

I hope that soon we can come inside and be a part of our pet s exam and consultation.

All the doctors and staff have always been knowledgeable and pleasant to move with. Dr Barango is an incredible person. Always returns calls and really cares about my senior cat, Harmony.

Due to covid-19, not allowed in building. But outside neat and tidy. You all are always so good to my animals and me. Thank you.

Unable to access office facilities; outside area well maintained. Dr & staff pleasant, explained my dog s issues & results of annual physical clearly with suggestions to improve his issues, which I greatly appreciated.
