I understand covid is a thing but it would have been better for me if you called and let me come in to the actual office to go over all the meds and if a follow up was needed. I felt very rushed. Inside 1 on 1 with masks would’ve been helpful

Dr. Barengo is wonderful. She shares information about diagnosis and treatment and we make decisions together when appropriate. She has done research, tracked Theos visits to determine patterns, and has offered additional resources to me. Theo loves her and the fact that she has won him over is great as he had some very painful visits with past providers. We communicate via phone and email so I feel as though I can better judge when he needs to be seen or his meds tweaked. I can’t say enough good about her. Additionally, the techs are all very patient and thoughtful with their care. They are thorough, ask great questions, and often have good suggestions for me. Office staff has always been attentive, helpful, courteous, and patient. My one suggestion is that you may need another phone line, but that’s a very minimal concern! Thank you, as always, for your services and for offering the opportunity to give this feedback.

I feel for the staff with all of the restrictions with COVID. It has definitely complicated things and it’s hard not to be able to accompany your pet into the office but completely understandable. I appreciate the time the vet took to call me and explain everything. Thank you for all of your hard work! We did have to wait quite awhile to get our puppy in to be seen (although thankfully I figured it would be this way and called way in advance) but I figured this was also due to all the changes with the COVID restrictions and inevitable right now. Thank you all again for your efforts and care!

Didn’t know boosters were an additional fee, I thought that those were part of the overall vaccine price. Probably a good idea to clarify that, though maybe it’s obvious to most people. Every additional cost is a blow these days and I’m sure I speak for a lot of people, so more financial clarity would be good.

I really appreciate that the docs take the time to personally call to report/provide feedback on an appointment. It’s especially helpful and comforting during these times when you’re prevented from accompanying your fur baby. I’ve always found the whole team to be very friendly and kind!

I love the vets and techs at Winthrop Vet. They handled my dog with care despite the fact that he was snappy due to his pain. They even said he was cute! LOL! I will note that I hold my breath a bit whenever I have to call WV. The staff who answer the phone may be a bit overworked. They are often a little short tempered. They cut you off when you are talking. You get the feeling that they don t want you to make an appointment. You have to specify that you are a current patient or they treat you like poo.

Your office is wonderful! Thank you for great service. I have noticed that someone answering the phones (I don t know her name) can sound a bit rude and condescending. Could have been a bad day for her... but I felt like she wasn t respecting my concerns about my pet.

I had to call Dr. Sheridan (friend) in order to be seen with my new dog. They wanted me to go to Lewiston or Freeport. I have been a client for 42 years and currently have 2 dogs who are patients. I don’t like to take advantage of a friend but making me travel that far was ridiculous. Fortunately they got me in that morning which I appreciate..
