Dr.Barengo is so kind and thorough.

The ladies at Winthrop Vet were great with my dog! She’s a pitbull who hates going to the vet, but gets very excited meeting new people. She had her rabies shot and some blood work done like a breeze. They made her feel so calm and welcomed. I was called with the results of the bloodwork the day after, too. Unfortunately, she is positive for lyme disease, but treatment is available. Thank you for the great experience, as always.

I understand covid precaution but when will you have in person visits again? Sometimes the tech returning our pets are not the ones who took care of them, so they can t give first hand information. It can be frustrating.

Aurora is so tiny and sensitive and it was in her charts that she reacts poorly to vaccines and she was so miserable afterwards from her vaccines.She didn t move for 24 hours after and cried when I picked her up! I was even offered by the assistant to give her rabies as well since she was there but not due till December and I said no to that!. It might have put her over the top! I would have liked her chart checked before she s seen and we can talk next time about what s necessary and what s not. I hope I can go into the appt next time. Everything else is great. Thank you

Wonderful vet service every single time.

I understand the use of slip leads for dogs are a hospital policy but please be up front about this because not all dogs are okay with a slip leads and have major anxiety about coming to the vets. I wish I knew before the appointment other wise I would have waited for thr office to be operating on normal operations...ie that we accompany our pets in the building.

I gave the last comment one star because we are still not allowed in the building

Time to let one person per pet inside to see Vet. Other offices are doing so. I hate not being present for exam.

I always feel confident that my cats are getting a thorough exam and are very much cared about. Any concerns are well explained and I never feel hurried. It is great to have a wonderful veterinary facilty so close by with the best Vets and staff members!
