Love Winthrop Vet! Each time my Evil Kaneville beastie does something silly or when I panic at a tiny bump, they get us in quickly and make sure we leave with no questions. As he is a nervous dog, he is muzzle trained and attends his visits wearing it. The employees there make he and I feel at ease and comfortable every time. Thank you Winthrop Vet!

i was referred to your facility-and this being a new-bee puppy i was very pleased with your care for Dixie- I have always had rescue dogs and this is a first for me - I wanted to get her taken care of as soon as possible and your TEAM was able to get me right is due to a cancellation. Thanks for the service, and may it be a long healthy one for Dixie and I.

The staff has always been comforting and attentive. I wouldn t trust any other care than with your Facility. As much as the two dogs were hurting, they each were wagging their tails as they went inside. Thank you for all that you do :-)

They are doing a good job managing visits during the pandemic.

I am so pleased with the excellent care from the veterinarians and technicians but the receptionist staff is consistently rude and impatient on the phone. I dread calling there, knowing that I will be treated like an inconvenience. I miss seeing the staff in person as I feel they would be less rude and dismissive if they were speaking to me directly instead of on the phone.

I would like to go in with Missy, I don t like not being in there with her.

Dr.Barengo and the technician were excellent. They were extremely attentive and answered all my questions.

Excellent service, only comment is that I am well informed on the effects of lyme disease and have declined it in the past. The person who came out to get the dogs i felt was trying to sell it by explaining the whole series of shots. I would have preffered if they asked if I would consider the vaccine before going in to detail. Other than that I have always had great service from you folks. Keep up the excellent work.

I understand the reasoning behind not allowing clients in the building, however, it is very difficult with an elderly pet with issues to not be able to be with them when they are examined. I am fully vaccinated for COVID, so it would be nice to be given the option to come in for those who have been vaccinated.

Although I fully understand the reasons, I thoroughly hate doing business for my pet out in the parking lot. I hope this can change when it is once again safe. Thank you for your great care of my pets. Stay safe.

Dr Bennett was very thorough and clear when explaining my dogs health. She really understands pugs. Her assistant was awesome handling Rooney as he howled while having his nails trimmed! Thanks ??????????

We’ve been a client here for 14 plus years and our first lab had the same virus. You were wonderful then and saved our Sadie in 2007 and today you saved our Cooper. We thank you from the bottom of our heart, for treating Cooper.

The report card is probably due to the new visit restrictions, but I think it should be continued when things return to normal. Of course that’s presupposing that will happen! At any rate, the report card was very appreciated! We are so happy that Dr. Marie is halc’s doctor!

Winthrop Veterinary Hospital has always met my expectations.

We are very satisfied with the care that our cat received. The doctors and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a long wait to drop off the cat and pick him up. Bu, because of the virus, we understand. We can’t blame them.

This is a wonderful practice. You take such good care of my fur babies. Thanks so much!

Only one concern, I was on hold on the phone for 10 minutes and just wanted to pay my bill by credit card and leave. I believe that was to long on hold.

Techs could walk dogs on her left, as dogs that have been trained prefer walking on the left. Techs need to realize that open spaces such as parking lots and highways are unsafe places to walk/handle owner’s dogs. If dogs are presented with his/her collars and leashes, how about having the techs use them, instead of trying to change to a an unsafe “slip” leash. Watching a tech handle a dog in an “unsafe” manner is not okay!
