I had called to ask for new medication for flea and tick treatment. I was asked to bring my dog in as she was due for some shots and needed to be seen prior. As I had to work on the appt date, I had my boyfriend in to have her seen. As per your email you requested a stool sample, he brought this in. I honestly feel as though we were taken advantage of because 8 hundred dollars later we received her flea and tick meds for a year, heart worm for a year, blood work done which I did not ask for etc. I feel the pricing should have been discussed prior to offering these services. I would have expected 3-500 but 800 is ridiculous.

We found Winthrop Vet when we were having serious issues with our previous dog. They made us feel so welcome and they took care of everything for us. We feel as though we found a gem!! Thank you all for all you do for us!

I was hoping Dr. Jana Zwetsloot was going to come back in after Leo had his shots and nails clipped, but Leo came back with the assistant. I was going to ask Jana what exactly did a senior bloodwork consist of and what that would actually tell me. Leo is 13 years old and I was not sure what I would learn from the senior work. I do like Jana very much and Leo likes her. maybe I should have said when you bring Leo back, I would like to discuss what senior bloodwork consists of and what exactly would I learn from having it done.

Just like a PCP, it’s easier and more real to have one vet.
