Dr. Kinnon is amazing! She was very thorough in the wellness exam- she asked a lot of questions, and she explained everything she did and why. The time she took and the attention she gave my dog child really shows that she genuinely cares. Mabel normally has stranger danger, but she already LOVES her new doctor! <3

The blood panel price raises every time we visit, which is now $180. Unfortunately I have to do it for my pup, but the price is getting really out of hand for my finances.

We don t know what we would do without Mariposa. We have been clients for a very long time. The front staff & techs are compassionate, knowledgeable and friendly. The doctors are well educated, keep up on the latest in veterinary & alternative medicine and very empathetic. We love Dr. Runnels! She is the best!

We absolutely LOVE Dr. Carrier and all of the doctors and staff at Mariposa!!! Our Routine visits are so easy and convenient; especially since we park and call upon arrival. A staff member meets us at our vehicle and safely guides us and our furry family members into the clinic for “weigh in” and are then guided to our exam room. There is never a shortage of treats for our 4 legged family members and they happily reciprocate with lots of slobbery kisses. Our exams are thorough and we are always given options in regards to vaccinating vs checking titer levels. The techs, doctors, and staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and supportive (even in the most difficult situations.) We can’t imagine taking our furry family anywhere else. We feel like family here and it makes every visit very special. Thank you to everyone at Mariposa!

Dr. Burcham is amazing with bunnies! Toby is back to her ornery self, into everything and doing bunny flops.

My bunny was fawned over and when it turned out that there was an emergency that would delay our appointment, he was allowed to hop around in the room which I’m sure he much preferred over being stuck in his carrier.

Dr Runnels and her staff are awesome. They really listen to you.

We have been going to Mariposa for around seven years now. We drive over two hours from home to get care for our dogs as local vets offer nothing in the way of integrative/holistic care, only mainstream veterinary medicine which often doesn t address the root of the problem and or makes things worse. Recently the approach to our pet s issues have increasingly focused on mainstream approaches which has been a disappointment. Also, while I understand calling to notify the office we ve arrived at our appointment to avoid chaos in the waiting room, not being able to check out in person before leaving is quite a difficult process, especially when trying to schedule follow up appointments. On our last visit both my husband and I had to explain twice to the same office person about what Dr. Runnels had instructed us to do about our next appointment and it was very frustrating. We also prefer to get a printed copy of the visit invoice but it is not offered and we have to print it ourselves when we get home. If there are any questions about a charge during the visit this is also difficult to address in the car on the phone without a visual copy. Overall, the general experience at Mariposa isn t as pleasant and efficient as it once was and I hope my comments will be considered in the spirit they are intended. Thank you, Kim Wood
