I love Dr Dodson and the entire staff at Mariposa. They are patient, willing to listen and work through all kinds of situations, especially when you’ve been scared by an emergency vet visit! If you are looking for a true long term care partner for your pet this is the place to be!

My favorite part of my recent visit was to walk out of the exam room and see all the staff sitting together eating lunch. Knowing that there is that kind of care for each other behind the scenes proves to me that my pup is in great hands. Thank you for all you do. Each and every one of you.

I really dislike having to call the desk with my credit card when I am leaving. The people are sitting right there. I would prefer to check out before I leave. I understand waiting in the car before an appointment but having to call instead of just talking face to face is uncomfortable

I understand not having pets in the waiting room, but it translates into we don t want you in our office . Front office staff do not even acknowledge our presence when going between the exam room and the front door. The sign on the counter saying to go outside and call to check out is actually pretty rude. My experiences coming to the office I feel like a burden to the staff and that my presence is a burden. When I am talking to or working with staff, they are all very pleasant. Our time with the vet was awesome.

Dr. Dodson has been a God send. My German Shepherd is anxious and is not friendly to strangers. Mariposa works with him and is able to accommodate his needs while still giving him excellent health care. Mariposa will be my vet as long as I have animals.

Dr Runnels is the best vet ever!!! She is the smartest and most knowledgeable vet ever but she also has the gift for doing what she does and it shows! My dog LOVES her and is so calm around her. She puts her heart and mind into all she does for all of her patients. Kudos to her!
