The service was wonderful. One of my dogs is very nervous at the vet with strangers, the person who handled him was kind and understanding. She let me walk him in and then took over, he went in got his shots and came out as if it all went okay. His visits always make me nervous but I left feeling relaxed. My other dog is super friendly so he didn t want to leave. Great experience.

I was told to make an appointment and I did. I was seen about two hours earlier. They took everyone who came after me, before me. Then my dog came out so sad like she was traumatized. The next thing I know, she’s afraid for us to be near her and then she yelped when we had to pick her up. She also had a bad reaction and I had to take her to the vet. The vet told me they may had given her a bad set. I was sad because I’ve come here for years. I know that places are understaffed, but I felt like when I went to tell them that I had been waiting for a really long time, they grunted and then rolled their eyes. Then another 45 mins went by and I was trying to ask and the employee would avoid me completely. When I got her attention, she asked another employee to help and she grunted again. No sorry for the wait or anything. I don’t want to be that person, because I know people are tired and overworked, but I just felt very disrespected and ignored to the point that I don’t think I will return.

Staff was very well informed and helpful. While I cannot rate how they treated my pet as it was a drop-off, I cannot firmly say it was 5 stars. Regardless, experience was pleasant and would come back here again as everyone was awesome. Thanks!

the only reason #5 didn t get 5 stars is due to the check in process. For whatever reason, the individual who checked me in in the am was less than friendly. She seemed overwhelmed and it spilled over in her interaction. No issues when picking up my pet, FWIW.

At your latest Rabies vaccination drive-up clinic, the information you posted on your website said appointments could be made during the clinic hours. I made an appointment, but when I arrived 10 minutes early, I was told that no, there were no appointments, it was first-come-first-serve. Had I been told this when I made the appointment the day before, I would have arrived first thing in the morning, rather than anticipating my appointment time being honored and being able to get on with my day. I ended up waiting 2.5 hours, narrowly missing the appointments that followed. Perhaps your volunteers should be more informed about such clinics in the future in order to not mislead people.

I brought my cat in for vaccines and she was brought back out in under 10 minutes without any vaccines or her chip scanned, which I had asked the clinic to do. Before she was brought in I was asked if she was friendly and I stated she can be a bit fickle however she s usually okay . When she was brought back out I was told we were unable to do any vaccines. She was hissing and growling. While I completely understand protecting your employees, I do find it a bit odd that they didn t have the equipment or training to deal with nervous pets that would keep both keep the animal and the staff safe. I was told my options were giving the cat a liquid supplement or sedation, I opted to hold off either. I was refunded my money and apologized to the staff about the cats demeanor, however I m still a bit frustrated. Also I don t believe her chip was scanned either.

My dog was given a second rabies shot after I veey clearly told the girl on the phone about AND my husband brought it up again to the person who took the dog in the day of. When he got home and I discovered this, it took me calling three times to get any information on this. The last woman I talked to was amazing- got the info from the vet herself (who was supposed to call me and I am still waiting on that) and was very reassuring and informative. I believe her name was Rachael or Stacey. She was the only positive part of this whole ordeal. It should not matter if you are shortstaffed, the missed documentation of information by your staff was reckless and dangerous, not to mention completely avoidable. What if it had been an allergy or something life threatening? Please do better for the sake of all pets and pet owners.

I wish you were able to have a mobile spay and neuter clinic but I know the resources that would take. You are a blessing to the city.
