The staff that came out to get my dog, did not handle the situation well at all. I had not been here before and rolled down the window half way to ask her what I needed to do, my Doxie was in my lap and she reached in the window and put the slip leash on her without telling me what she was doing. Then she wanted me to hand her my dog through the window, that is not safe for my senior 16 lb dachshund. So I explained I d rather open the door and let her out. But because the leash through the window that was really awkward. Then instead of letting her walk she picked her up. She said they usually carry small dogs. But the way she picked her up was by the middle, not supporting her back and my dog whimpered as she s sensitive with her back. Afterwards, I explained why I was there and she gave me misinformation. I told her she needed an oral examination as she needs dental work and I can t afford what a major vet quoted, she looked at the quote and said it would probably be higher with you all. Which was not the truth. The lady who walked my dog back to me was kind and knowledgeable, but my experience was soured by the mishandling and poor information from the first interaction.

The only thing I would say that would be good to let clients know is that it could be an hour wait in the line to drop your pet off and to pick your pet up for spay and neuter. That way it gives the client an idea of how much time they re going to need to take away from work or if they have something else scheduled they can reschedule it.

I have used the clinics mobile vaccine, urgent care, and spay and neuter services for a few years now. I am extremely grateful for everything that your clinic has been able to provide because without it my animals wouldn’t be fixed or updated on shots or my sweet cat wouldn’t have been diagnosed with his blockage even though it wasn’t a happy ending for us. Your clinic has always been absolutely wonderful and the staff is great.

They did not issue my cat a rabies number and I can’t register him without it. I’ve left a phone message and a message through the online chat and no one has gotten back to me. I’m going to get a fine from my city for not being able to register my cat on time

I truly appreciate all you do for the Kansas City area pet community. I understand the need to utilize your staff in the most efficient way possible and using email as your main source of communication makes sense- but could their be a way for more direct communication? I have had a couple of emails that have never been answered and it is a little nerve wracking when you are worried about our pets and trying to get a more immediate response. Other than that - I love your services!

My cat was bilateral abdominal cryptorchid. I was quoted 3 different prices by 3 different staff. I asked for a call after surgery to let me know the final price and was told that was not a problem. I never received a call and had to wait until pick-up for the final price of service. I planned ahead and brought a lot of cash in various bills so I could pay the amount due without needing change. The process was confusing as a customer because I was told $360, then $110, then $235. I knew beforehand that the type of surgery could change dependent on the location of the testes. However, I did tell all staff that he was examined and is known bilateral abdominal cryptorchid. Also, if it is not possible to call between surgery and pick-up, then please do not tell the customer to expect a call. I understand if you are too busy, but please set expectations appropriately.

Everything was great. It was difficult to connect with PRC. Something happened when I put my phone number in and it didn t send a text. I think it defaulted to a local area code So there was a delay getting an appointment because it s difficult to reach anybody when you call. That s the only feedback I understand the place is very busy. Maybe a direct line to the vet in the event there s an emergency.
