Dr. Feng and the rest of the staff were wonderful. They were great with our dog Beau. I did feel as there was a bit of up selling gong on regarding tests, medications, etc.... But all were very respectful when we declined a number of those items. I did appreciate getting the estimates before committing to various items. I did feel things were a bit more expensive then we experienced previously at VCA and I m also used to more reasonable prices from our vet back east. That being said, I do understand that we are in a different market.

This was my first visit with my 3 cats. The staff is super friendly and professional. Thank you! I had asked to have 2 of my cats nails clipped the first day I was There. When I got home and checked, they had not clipped their nails and I paid for it. They happily refunded the charges the next day. I m just disappointed this procedure was not done as I asked a few times.

When people go to the doctor, they now often get a “notes” or “summary” or “follow up”. As our pets sometimes have involved and detailed medical co dictions, it’s sometimes hard to remember all the details, follow up times, etc… although I’m sure it would add a bit of time and cost, it would be great if upon departure pet parents received (maybe printed right at the bottom of the invoice), a short synopsis of the visit. I’m a pretty diligent pet owner and sometimes, but the time I check out and get home, I can’t remember if…just as an example…did Dr. H say to return for a follow up lab in 1 month or was it 2 months? While the staff is always great about responding to emails and calls, this little synopsis of visit would be really helpful.

Our dog, Coco, was a patient of Dr. Freng s during his time at Palm Desert Pet Hospital. Although we were disappointed when he made the decision to leave that practice, we were thrilled to reconnect with him at PS Pet Hospital. We really like him, as does Coco. Wendy (I believe that was her name) assisted the Dr. during out visit. We appreciate that she has been with the practice for 15 years. She was so very kind. Previous to Dr. Freng, we were, for many years, a patient of Dr. Hicks, who has retired. What we cared about with Dr. Hicks was his kindness and his old fashioned ways with our dogs and we feel the same way with this new PS practice. We care more about the professionalism and caring rather than a fancy office. The staff from check in to check out was great. Great senses of humor.
