I am not happy that I had to pay more top be seen. I have been bringing my pets to Dr poling for 30 years. I do not want to wait 2 weeks for an appointment. Thats not feasible. I hope that I dont have to find a new vet

I love Avon Animal hospital and have trusted them to take care of 10 of my pets throughout the past 16 years! The front desk associate who took checked us out the previous two times we visited (I believe her name was Becky) is frustrating to deal with. I don’t expect everyone I deal with to be totally friendly all the time, I know people have challenging days. The issue is that she is clearly struggling with understanding what she is doing, and refuses help from the other associates when they offer to help her. I was concerned that I wasn’t going to be charged correctly since she told us she “thinks she’s doing everything right but she really doesn’t know”. It took 15 minutes for her to check us out both times when it usually only takes a few minutes at most. She seems to lack any kind of social skills whatsoever, which indicates to me that she may be more suited for a position that isn’t customer facing. When any questions I ask are answered with a blatant “I don’t know” and a refusal to ask anyone who may know, it gets to be frustrating. All of the other employees have always been very kind and knowledgeable. The ratings that are below 5 star in the categories given for this survey are purely a result of our experience with one employee.

It was my first time here with one of my cats since we moved to Ohio from Maryland in July. We loved our vet in Maryland. Dr. Olive was great. She took her time. The whole staff was very nice. The facility was clean. I know I’ll be happy here. ??

Always feel confident and truly satisfied with my appointments. Dr. Poling continues to be a true blessing. Great new look at the clinic too!

A very good experience taking my kitty for her procedure .. The staff was friendly and very informed answering my questions . The renovation of the office is so bright and welcoming . Best part is kitty is doing well and on the road to recovery ??

My kitties and I love Avon Animal Hospital and Dr. Poling! Everyone is so helpful, caring, gentle and understanding when dealing with my babies. The new, remodeled facility is beautiful. It is so clean and uncluttered. The traffic flow is much better with separate enter and exit doors.

it would be nice if staff would update if the Dr is running behind. we waited over 40 minutes past our appt time to see the dr and there was no communication about this. also had to ask staff 4 times for the same thing. they seemed very unorganized and it was very chaotic in the office.

Was charged for 2 extra items & had to ask for refunds. Was there for a total of 2 hours & actually seen for 15 minutes. Was told I d be given medicine options with dosage & didnt get them.

Dr Poling is wonderful. I will only take my pets to her. She always takes the time to answer all of my questions. Plus Tori went above and beyond. Our dog Teddy had to spend the weekend in the hospital and Tori constantly sent us photos and videos and we always knew what was going on. She is the best. I will never go to another veterinarian again. This place is like home and they treat your pet like it was their own.

The Doctors and staff at Avon animal hospital are amazing friendly courteous knowledgeable and genuinely care about their patients. The staff manages to be totally professional but very caring at the same time.

I was sad to find out that you are NO longer doing tech visits on Saturdays because my work schedule is VERY busy like 8-7 M-F and I welcomed the Sunday vaccine clinics or Sat tech appt. The gentleman who helped me Saturday went out of his way to assist me in ordering medication through your website to save me some money. I am so thankful and he is wonderful.
