We drive for an hr each way to bring our reactive, high strung rescued dog to Westlock Vet because the staff is professional and modern in their approach to caring for these kinds of dogs. Not every dog is a mellow yellow lab that loves everyone; not every vet clinic has a handle on how to deal with dogs like ours. We’re grateful we found out about Westlock Vet and we gladly make the drive as needed to take care of our beloved dog.

Amazing service every time, friendly and help staff and I always get great advice and service from the vets on staff. We drive 40 minutes to see Westlock Vet and it’s well worth it they treat our pets like family!!!

It’s unfortunate I had to wait 40 mins in the room to see the vet for a 5 minute appointment. Nobody came to communicate that I would have to continue waiting as long as I did or told me they were quite behind. I left the room to find out how much longer and couldn’t find anyone at the front to talk to. My dog is quite anxious at the vet and I would’ve liked to know that I would be waiting so long so I could’ve adjusted my plans with him and waited elsewhere.

We dealt Doctor Trevor Jackson on this most recent visit. He took the time to address all my concerns regarding my dog Bunzy of which there were many. It is unfortunate to find out he is retiring.
