Vet tech had already drawn up the rabies vaccine from the original vial when she came into waiting room. The pet parent should always be shown the vial and watch the tech or MD draw up the med from that vial and see the administration to your pet! Accidents happen all the tiine, especially in busy clinics. They are always unintentional yet nonetheless do happen. It s very important to feel comfortable knowing your pet received the right medication and that it has not passed the expiration date. It s a very simple way to prevent a potentially harmful mistake! It s a win win for everyone. The vet is protected & so is the pet! On a positive note, I do think your office does a great job in general of providing excellent service and usually feel comfortable having you care for my pup! The vets & all staff are very kind, caring and seem very knowledgeable. They always take the time needed to explain what they ll be doing and why. No rush to answer all questions! The office is always clean & smells great! Thanks for all you do!
