First time having Dr. DeMonte for my pets. She was amazing. She followed up the next day to give test results! Also the girls at the door were fantastic as well. All of you Rock!!

Dr. James was absolutely wonderful! We have never left Stella anywhere in her whole life, so we were worried about dropping her off for a few hours. He kept in touch with us throughout the day, explained everything so well and took care of her! He genuinely cares!

I know it s hard right now with the pandemic, but spend more time making sure people aren t waiting in the parking lot for a long time, as we did.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. James, his staff and the practice. They all treated my baby Flash and my family with such care and dignity. What a wonderful Practice! Still waiting for call back from tech for our dogs prescription. Was told by Dr Anderson that I would receive a call from the office to confirm payment and time to pickup prescription. Still waiting. I understand these are busy times, so I m not upset. Hopefully its filled Thursday. Otherwise our experience on Monday was incredible. Dr. Anderson is beyond words. Explained everything perfectly and seems like a very sincere and caring person. Loved our experience. Thank you!

I am very pleased with Busters visit. He is feeling so much better , his eyes look great. I will continue with ointment for the 10 days as prescribed. We will definitely continue to recommend to family & friends. Thank you all again for going above & beyond getting my baby boy Buster in to see the vet . I was so worried about him .

Even in the midst of a pandemic, you were organized, efficient and pleasant. Dr Anderson took amazing care of my kitty and the techs who came to my car at drop off and pickup were friendly and showed such care and compassion! There is no place better than Meriden Animal Hospital

We made the appointment for a Lyme test recheck. We got there, checked in, waited in the car for 10 minutes or so to have someone pick up Java and bring her in. I asked the tech about seresto collars while we were there. I got a call from the office and the tech said ok so I ll do the blood draw for the erlichia retest. I said to my knowledge, since she had parvo as a puppy, she ll always flag for that, so we are here for the Lyme retest. To whit she replied that it was entirely too early for the Lyme retest, but the levels of the erlichia would indicate if she had it or if it was the antibodies to it. Not wanting to inflict unnecessary harm on an animal I agreed to the test for $140. Java came back out to the car about 15 minutes later with the promise I would hear results Friday (and no information on the tick collar I had requested). I have not received the results. I assume she s OK? And I assume you dont carry the seresto collars? -Mya Cyr

I called to pick up my pet and was told they’ll be right with me. Two ladies came out and confirmed who I was there fir pickup and specifically told me “she’ll be right with you”. I waited and I waited. Exactly 30 minutes later everyone that was there after me left and I had to call back because it seemed that they forgot about me. I was in the parking lot the entire time. That was not ok, and I was very upset about that.But the doctor I spoke to on the phone was very thorough with the exam and answered all my questions. That was the only pleasant experience.

When calling to let you know we have arrived I left a voicemail because the line was busy waited 15 minutes after my appointment time and called again until I spoke to someone. Hopefully this system can be fixed to make it easier for the staff the pets and families

The staff of MAH is incredibly both professional and caring. They have been caring for my pets for over 40 years and I would recommend to anyone who wants thorough and compassionate care for their pets that this is the animal hospital to bring them to!

I was seriously considering looking for a new clinic because our beloved dr James had decreased his time in the practice. That was my thought until I got to spend some time with my dogs & dr Scheera ( please excuse my spelling). She is absolutely delightful person. She has a very special way with dogs & people along with being very knowledgeable in veterinary medicine. She is realistic & doesn t jump to ordering testing that is unnecessary. We will definitely stay with our favorite Meriden Animal Hospital.

Nicholas Elliott and his mom just love our Dr. James. He is so kind and good with Nicholas who can be a tad trying at times. Always recommend this place!

James and his father have always treated my dogs with great care and always was able to provide me information for alternative ways to care for some of the problems. Holistic ways.

I had an amazing experience. I was able to get an appointment the same day. I can not say enough about the staff that took care of my baby. It was so refreshing to see the amount of care and concern they had for my baby. It made all the difference. Thank you.

The vet should come and meet people that drop off their pet for a sedated physical in case any other questions when the person goes to pick the pet up in the afternoon

My little boy became ill very fast. They took him right in and treated him. With that being said he started to decline - again they didn’t leave his side.... he wasn’t expected to make it through the night and 3 days later he’s home and in my arms . We still have a long road ahead but meriden animal hospital saves my Vercace life!!! They are amazing , kind and compassionate !! Highly recommend !!
