The staff is always very organized, friendly, and professional. They give my dog the best care.

Obviously would be better to go inside but understand why that’s not an option. I have a very difficult dog and the staff handles him very well. They always listen to any concerns and answer all my questions.

When someone emails the office, a reply would be appreciated. I emailed 2 weeks ago and to this date have not been answered. Other than that your team is awesome. Your COVID process is spot on too.

During this time of Covid, things are difficult for everyone. At Meriden Animal Hospital everyone, from the young lady outside checking in, to the employees who came out for my dog, to Dr. DeMonte, who took care of my dog, were simply wonderful. Very friendly and always smiling. Whenever I called with a question, Gabby was helpful on the phone whenever I needed to call. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience. Thank you, everyone.

I definitely understand that COVID has had a terrible impact on all of us and that procedures had to be revamped to accommodate new precautions. However, when I dropped my dog off in the morning I asked about how long it would be before he was ready...I was informed that I would receive a call in a few hours with an update. I dropped him off at 8am, I waited until 1pm without hearing anything before I eventually called and didn’t receive a response. I got a call back at 130pm with an update. Again I can imagine how hectic it is having all patients for the day dropped off at the same time but I was told to expect a call in a few hours and didn’t get one....the communication could have been a little better.

My first puppy was pebbles,This team cared for her for 11 wonderful years, From the beginning to the end,with all my heart I m thankful for everyone there,We have a new love her name is Eva and there is no were else I would take her from the beginning to the end.

Disappointed that our dog had to be in for his appointment between 7:30 and 8a then we got at call at 3:30 with pre procedure questions for his procedure. I feel his procedure was rushed and he didn’t have ample time for the anesthesia to wear off before 5:30, the time we were asked to be back to pick him up.

I started my experience at MAH with a new puppy during the pandemic. Everyone has been very courteous and helpful. Dr. Anderson is my puppy’s vet, only have talked to her on the phone during visits. Seems very nice, helpful and knowledgeable. Am looking forward to being able to go into the building and meeting her.

Vet made a comment about my dog s weight but didn t ask any questions about what she s eating or her level of activity. I was surprised she wasn t more interested in why she gained a few pounds (still well within her normal weight range).

love meriden animal hospital however the receptionists are always rude and seem as though we are disturbing them when calling to schedule or ask a question.
