we love everyone at Winthrop Vet !!! great care always

We are so happy with the care our 3 dogs receive at Winthrop Veterinary Hospital. We switched 4 years ago because we were so glad to find where Dr. Barengo went after being at Pine Tree. We appreciate the ability to see the same doctor for all our dogs. Thank you. Also, Melissa Daleski (sp?) is always so helpful to me when I call, and I really appreciate that so much.

Wish I had thought to bring home Oskley s collar. I forgot. Everyone was friendly etc. I have brought my pets in before when I had them.

Checking out took longer, busy place you have! Not sure if this could be streamlined or not. Just an observation. thank you!

very good. no problems. everyone is always very friendly. This was first time with Dr Bill. Charlie seemed to like him so he is on my dog approved list for sure.

The waiting time was short. The provider was very patient & thorough in answering my questions. The staff are always friendly & helpful. I didn t ask about the billing procedure because it was clearly broken down on my receipt. The facilities were very clean & neat

While my cats were in the waiting area a loud and nervous dog was brought in. A technician came out to pat and visit with the dog. The dog was sitting next to my cats and the tech kept saying ohh, want to see a kitty? etc. My cats do not like vet visits and get very freaked out. It seems to me that rather than engaging the loud dog in the waiting room for pleasure, the dog could have been brought to the exam room or at least moved away from my cats rather than encouraging the dog to sniff the cat cage. Also, it was an almost 20 minute wait to be seen and I did arrive on time.

It was absolutely inconceivable how my family was treated that day. Dr. Sheradon was rude, short and extremely insensitive to my daughter’s who brought in Brandy because she was dying. I cant express into words how it has affected my family and we are spreading the word. It has been a very difficult time and Brandy was your patient for 13 years and this is what we got from it. You should at least refund her money for that disturbing appointment. Dr. Sheradon May have called and apologized but that had no affect on the lasting memory of Brandy’s last days. We will never allow her to be near any future animals and letting others know through social media. She should be ashamed of herself and your practice should not allow it. Make sure we are removed from all communications, I do not want any email or mail coming to our home for either Brandy or Annabel. Not one!!!

Pushed into purchases I didn’t necessarily want or need

Our pets have been seen at WVC for many years. Although Dr Bryant is fabulous and hands down the best vet we’ve ever had, all the vets in the clinic are good. My only complaint (minor) is the check out procedure, which takes a surprising amount of time. It’s a small space at the checkout window and is part of the back hall where staff is trying to move through. Adding a second client waiting to checkout makes it very crowded indeed. I usually take my dog to the car first to try to make the process a bit easier.

Everyone is nice and cares deeply for my fur babies. Will never go to a different vet.

Dr. Bryant and staff always take great care of us, both Lucy and the humans she brings with her!

So grateful to have you folks nearby and everyone is very pleasant and I love Dr. Barengo. Others have been wonderful too when she was not available. Gerry Scott

We waited about 35 minutes to be be seen. I understand that I called that morning and was able to be seen that day so I understand a little wait but if it was going to be over a half hour wait, a telephone call advising us to come in a half hour later would have been a nice gesture. We have no complaints once we were seen.

The staff was friendly, helpful, and made me feel welcome on our first visit to see the vet. The office is clean, well organized and cheery. My pet received excellent care and all questions were answered with no prejudice. Very satisfied.

My feline fur baby was seen by a provider that usually works on Wedsndays. I really liked her and she answered all my questions and concerns. I cannot remember her name unfortunately.

Winthrop Vet is the best!

Once Shania was checked I gave the ok to do further test. I was told that she had megaesophagus and that older dogs will get pneumonia and may not live much longer after they contract pneumonia. I was asked not to pick her up until after 3:00 PM. That was fine. My problem was that she was 10 times worse when I picked her up. I thought it must have been drugs that were given to her to do ex-rays. I have no idea why she was sent home. She suffered all night long. She couldn t walk, drink, eat but only threw up phlegm all night. This should have never happened. After the test and meds, that she didn t take, were not refundable. I had to have her laid away and cremated that next morning. I don t feel that you people have any sympathy for the animals that you treat, therefor I will be taking Pudgy to a different clinic.

I think the prices are a little high compared to other Vets in the area, but I would pay the extra to have Mary Sheridan as my Vet. We love her......and my dogs love her too.
