This was our first visit under the management/leadership of Dr. Mags and his staff. We have been clients of Spring Glen Vet since arriving in Hamden 16 years ago. We were very pleased with the care we got for our newly adopted Shih Tzu, Willi, when we brought him to Dr. Mags this week. His entire team was friendly, welcoming, helpful and competent. We especially appreciated the prompt email communications with the office manager prior to our visit, and also the approach Dr. Mags had with our pooch. He got right down on the floor with Willi to get to know him and put him at ease. It was a wonderful visit.

Since my dog was in a great deal of unexpected pain, I very much appreciated being accommodated for an urgent visit. Dr. Mags, as I m getting to know him, was typically caring, thorough, and on top of all important matters related to the visit, even though he was clearly very busy that morning. The staff were the same. Carrying my dog for me to and from the car, since I m crutches, was an especially nice gesture. I m very happy at Spring Glen and would gladly recommend Dr. Mags to anyone in need of a vet.

It was a great experience. My kitties vet was very sweet, gentle and very knowledgeable. I appreciated his time and information. I m happier to know that my kitties are healthy and that they have an awesome vet to depend on.

This was a wonderful experience for both my cat and I. The entire visit was efficient and so quick that my cat was not scared at all. I highly recommend this office if you are looking for a vet.

Dr. Mag was about 1/2 late. Assistant not friendly at all. I should not have to feel uncomfortable when I am paying out customer. I should be greeted with a smile and told hello. Dr. Mags wife was friendly.

I love it here. Everyone and everything is excellent. I love the extra attention Dr. Mags gives to our dog and to us - he asks thoughtful, caring questions to get Winnie s overall, holistic picture of health. He really cares.

This time the receptionist was extremely pleasant. I found out she is the doctor s wife.

Dr. Mags and his staff provide excellent care to the animals but they are also extraordinarily informative and kind to the owners. All my questions were answered, he teaches me the best way to care for my cat, and understands financial constraints; giving owners all the options, from minimum necessary to more intense full care without compromising the health of the animal. Quite simply, I ve had pets for almost 50 years, and Dr. Mags is hands down the BEST veterinarian I have ever used.

Staff and Doctor were incredibly kind to my fur baby and myself.

When I arrived, I was told that I didn t have an appointment although I called in the week before to make an appointment. Fortunately, I was able to be seen.

Thank you to the staff at Spring Glen Vet. I came in on Monday and was having a very difficult time being there since my dog is so old and I know our time is limited. The staff couldn’t have been more kind and understanding, which I appreciated so much! The vet who saw my dog stole the words right out of my mouth as to how I was feeling, knowing that I’m staring at his mortality in the face, so it’s of course difficult emotionally.
