This was much easier for my older dog. She would get very uneasy sitting in the front reception room with the other dogs and then it was almost impossible to take her to the treatment room. Waiting in the car was so much better for her nerves and mine.

I don t like curbside. The fact that you are not able to talk to the Veterinarian face to face and ask questions or get their opinion. Personally, I can t wait for this pandemic to be over with, so we can get back to the way we were. Small Animal staff is great!!! Thank them all for me.

I m very frustrated with the wait times and lack of communication. I brought my dog in for anal gland expression and diabetic cat in for a fasting glucose. He eats at 8:30, shot at 9 (due to time change and not migrating his schedule in the interest of consistency). Our appt was at 9:20 and we were a few minutes early. My dog was brought back within 10 mins of being taken, but Charlie was difficult to draw blood from. I was told he would be a few minutes. When he was brought out at 10:14, I very clearly told the tech I had to go because he was already 2 hours passed his feeding. She apologized, said there had been an emergency and that they were getting his medication ready. At 10:41 I texted that I needed to leave. When backing out of my parking space at 10:44, the tech came out. I expressed my displeasure and frustration to her. Then I had to call and reschedule the follow up appt and spoke to Karen. Karen was kind and compassionate in hearing and understanding my concerns and frustrations. I ve been coming to this office for almost 12 years and am almost to my breaking point with the wait times and ever rising prices. The reasons for my answers above are that I do not feel I was listened to in relation to my schedule. I would ve came back and picked up the meds after getting my diabetic cat fed. My needs were not met by having to wait 1.5 hours in my car for an anal gland expression, BG check, and lactulose Rx. I like the curbside service for easy/quick visits but for actual appointments I would like to be in with my pet & vet. I don t prefer texting to calling but it would be easier to be able to text sometimes instead of waiting on hold or a call back at times.
