Dr. Polling has been amazing treating my dog and figuring out the meds that work. All the staff has been amazing. I appreciate everything they have all done to make my dog feeling better.

We felt like the most important people ever helped at AAH…well, our dog did. I would travel to follow Dr. Polin. I have tried clicking on the stars above and it’s not working. It’s maybe because I’m on a Mac? Regardless, 5 stars for everything.

I have been going there for 11 years. I have four dogs. And six cats. Dr poling and Dr Olive are wonderful veterinarians I would recommend them to anybody.

I always feel confident that francy is receiving the best care possible. She agrees with me.

My dog loves coming there and is treated so sweetly by all. Wouldn’t go any place else.

I don’t agree with being charged a New dog office call rate when I have been an existing client for many years and currently have three dogs being cared for by the practice.

there was no over night staff to monitor our cat, we were asked to have him picked up and taken to another facility. In the end our animal was put to sleep. It was just traumatic in the end and will make me think twice about care. I have always loved Avon Animal and will always be great full for past care.

Shot clinic? Visit for (3) dogs, incl stool samples a couple days earlier, + heart worm medication… $1k was a little steep

We just love Dr. Poling and Jessica. They have taken good care of my dogs for over 20 years.

This was our first visit to Avon Animal Hospital. The staff were all professional, friendly and efficient. Dr. Olive was knowledgeable and answered all my questions. She showed an interest in our dog. Thank all of you for the care you provided.

There was no discussion about billing other than the front desk will close you out. The technician was great but I felt the DR rushed us out - I’m not even sure what the DR looked at on my cat. There was very little feedback given to me.

The tech was not very friendly (she was short with me & a bit rude) but the rest of staff, including Dr. Olive, were nice.

Dr. Poling is our family’s absolute favorite. I always appreciate her recommendations and her approach to taking care of our cats. She always helps us explore less invasive treatment options for us to try first for our cat’s gingivitis vs just going right to recommending teeth cleaning under sedation. I feel that our cats are extremely safe under her care.

Dr. Olive is an amazing Vet.

Dr. Olive was condescending and rude. On top of that she refused bloodwork on my Sophie when I requested it! Three times! She ignored what I was bringing her in for and misdiagnosed her. She gave her medicine that made her very ill and then an injection room she said was 100% safe. Well between these two medications, Sophie went into acute kidney failure and I called several times to have her seen and was refused an appointment. The person on the phone told me she would not get on the phone even. I was also told Dr. Olive felt her problems were her heart which not one of the symptoms were of any heart issue. I ended up having to take her to Northview in which she was hospitalized. They were successful in getting her kidneys better but she had fluid overall and had heart failure. She had no issues with her heart other than it was enlarged. No murmur. No issues!!!! I hold Dr. Olive responsible for my best friend dying! I called the office again on a couple occasions and was not even told I’m sorry for your loss. Needless to say, I have filed a complaint with the vet board and may be seeking legal avenues. It cost me $4000 and I lost my dog because she was rude and did not care to do any bloodwork on Sophie. Worse, she refused to see her when it was medication that caused her to have acute kidney failure. Never will I let my animals be cared for by her. I’ve heard so many bad stories since this occurred that I wish I had known. My little baby is gone and it was horrible what she endured from negligence of Dr. Olive.

Dr Anita Poling is the greatest! She knew exactly how to handle my cat so he wouldn’t freak out. We love our Vet, Dr Poling!
