We found the facility to be very clean and people friendly. But we were a little taken aback by some of your rates. For example giving a monthly shot by an assistant cost us over $167.00 versus $90.00 we were charged every month by our previous Vet Hospital. Quite a jump in billing. Also surprised we had to give $80.00 deposit prior to our first visit.

We feel very comfortable at this veterinary practice. Dr. Polling and her staff are friendly and knowledgeable. We like the small personal feel here as opposed to the super-size clinics and hospitals. We like that the procedures we had were done right there in the exam room, not having removed our dog to another place in the building to give her the shots, etc.

This was our first visit to Avon Animal Hospital and everything went very well from setting up the appointment through the completion of our visit. 5 stars across the board.

We were 20 minutes early for appointment and someone walks in 3 minutes to our appointment and goes straight back and then we had to wait an extra 15 minutes with a 5 month old puppy who was losing his patience! Then they didn’t even check anything besides listen to his lungs and look in his ears because I told them he had an ear infection. I want given any info or insight on my dog while I was there. It seemed as if because he wasn’t a regular they were not interested in him! Will NOT be going back!

What happened to the 10% discount that was formerly given to Seniors and the Sunday clinics? Veterinary services are becoming too expensive for those of us on fixed incomes. We want to take good care of our beloved pets but find the cost of two standard inoculations ($180) to be a challenge.

We have bringing our pets there for over 40 years!

You charged me 80. ahead of my first visit to secure my first appointment. I needed my puppy to be seen for a follow-through DHPP shot. On my way to the appointment, I called to inform you of my delay in getting there on time. To my disappointment, you told me that I was too late and that the appointment would need to be rescheduled, which I did. I knew the appointment was 80. for the doctor s visit and 48.60 for the shot and fees, which was fine. After services were rendered, when paying for the appointment, I was informed that I owed you another $80 for missing my previous appointment, which felt deeply unfair, especially as a first-time customer and a senior on a fixed income. I paid you the balance of the visit and called your manager after the weekend to see if you would show me any light on this extra charge. Your manager said the policy on this matter would remain in place and that you would report me to a credit collector if it was not paid in three months. Harsh... I am not a criminal; I was just late for an appointment. Would I return to a company like yours after being hit with this extreme late policy? People go into business to make money, of course. Still, your business practices seem heartless.

Friendly and professional

I have been with this office for over 30 years. Very disappointed in the billing process. It seems like it’s getting more expensive and fees are being added. I was charged $56 dollars for a urine sample that should have been part of the $80 visitation fee. I will not be coming back to your office. Very, very disappointed.

My family has used this office since I was a little girl and I am 58 now...I highly recommend to everyone. We live about 40 minutes away and have no desire to go anywhere else

The vet that we saw was very thorough and took time to listen to us and make a complete diagnosis of our dog s issues. We left with complete satisfaction of our visit!
