This was the first time Dr. Crocker had seen Theo. She was really pleasant and gentle with him. She inquired about his routine and m tried to make him feel at ease. I have never walked away disappointed from Oak Forest Vets. Always have gone out of their way to make Theo’s visit as pleasant as it can be. Everything was great, but I’m a first time puppy owner and the vet tech was sweet but kept throwing out lots of suggestions and options regarding heartworm and other things for the dog and I honestly had no idea what she was talking about. The words she used or brands I didn’t understand at all and if you have not been educated on it, I don’t even know what she’s offering. Maybe before offering these options we could have more explanation or further guidance into what she’s suggesting is best for new puppies. I left quite confused about the samples I was given, and don’t even know how to give them to my dog.

I was very happy with the whole visit.

We love Oak Forest Vet Clinic and are happy to be new clients, despite having 2 sick dogs. The receptionists are very kind and helpful. Dr Moore and Erica are very sharp and empathetic. They have already helped us deal with two very ill dogs. We feel very fortunate to have found a new vet.

Dr. Maher is a kind and caring doctor. She is very thorough in her exam and explains the diagnosis in terms you can understand and how she made her determination.

I am eternally grateful for the staff who examined Lazlo. If they had not been thorough, and requested an X-ray we would have not known he had 2 collapsed lungs. We are currently at Gulf Coast Vet in the ICU to treat pneumothorax. If the staff at OF had not been thorough we would have never discovered this and would have possibly allowed him to suffer. Thank you all so very much!!

This was my first time at this location and I have to say I’m impressed. Not only was the facility nice but so was each member of the staff that I encountered. The vet came across as genuinely concerned about my dog and made me feel very comfortable. We have long taken our dog to “chain” type vets because he only needed vaccinations but now that he’s 6 years old we figure we had better find a vet that knows him. Looks like we have found our new home.

You all are wonderful! Our only suggestion: Offer all your new patients the option of participating in those adorable first visit social media posts. Yasmin wants to be one of your top social media influencers!
