I ve only met Dr. Maher a handful of times, mostly with fosters. This was the first time with my personal dog who is a distemper survivor. She was very thorough in her exam. I mentioned he had had an ear infection the weekend prior and had to go to Pet Care Express and asked for her to take a look. They looked good and she thoroughly showed me the best way to clean his ears. I really appreciated her taking the time to not just clean them, but to explain why it was best to clean them the way she showed me. She has a great bedside manner, always chipper and happy to see you. Keep her please! :)

We saw Dr Boone for the first time. Our 8 year old golden retriever was coming in because he was limping. We have inquired about arthritis with him before. Dr Boone suggested an X-ray for roger on both legs in order to diagnose the problem and also said needed a dental cleaning and his ears cleaned. We were just in for his semi annual check up in February where we were told his teeth looked good and there was no mention of anything with his ears. We asked to try an anti inflammatory for his arthritis before doing xrays and were prescribed 1 weeks worth of meds. In the past we have brought in our other dog for a similar limping issue and were given a much longer treatment plan. Going forward we will make sure to see Dr Moore or Dr Crocker because we are just more comfortable with how they have taken care of our dogs in the past. Dr Boone seemed to want to do a bunch of expensive procedures.

My wife and I moved to Houston from San Antonio, where we had a vet that we really liked, and we were worried about finding a practice that was both high quality and affordable. We re so glad that we found Oak Forest Veterinary Hospital! Everyone, staff and vets, are always so friendly and I feel like my dog is getting the best care available without having to give up an arm and a leg. Can t recommend ya ll enough!

I have to say I was nervous my vet of many years retired and like most of us, I hate chg. But, It was a pleasant experience. Everyone was very professional and nice. Thumbs up

Great Service.

The only reason why the time was less than satisfactory was because we came in on a Saturday and requested Dr. Crocker. We loved our experience with Dr. Crocker and the tech. As a pet owner to an anxious/fearful dog, it is so comforting to be able to bring him to the vet where we know he is cared for and understood.

Thank you so much for seeing us on short notice and being wonderful to my cat.

All of your staff is always top notch. I am consistently treated with kindness, respect, and compassion when I bring a pet to your facility. Most importantly, my most nervous and un-trusting pet feels comfortable in your office. Keep up the amazing work, I know it isn t always easy!

Always enjoy stepping into the office with the girls smiling. Plus Techs are very friendly also. Dr. Crocker always explains the results and next steps of the tests that is performed.

Great staff. I find it difficult to get an appointment if your dog is sick but you can get seen right away for wellness exams. Overall love the place.

I tried to mark excellent in each box, but nothing happened. Not sure if it is my PC or the questionnaire which is the problem.

We love you guys as does Finn! We are about to move and plan to still drive back to Oak Forest to take Finn. :)
