Staffing shortages created lengthy wait times. Only three staffers and one Vet onsite. The Vet was hot-stepping to meet the needs of clients. Patience was a necessity and easily obtained. The crew at Newport Vet go above and beyond to accommodate.

The doctor was kind, compassionate and supportive and Im so thankful to her!

I brought my dog in for a skin rash a week ago & she recv d an itching shot for $140 from Dr Laylor. I found her personable yeat I left feeling that I hadnt been listened to about her rash. never in my presense did she look at the rash or comment on what to expect from it & how to care for it. in the week since, the rash, turned to pimples & now to pustules so I am very concerned. I dont know whether I should try to dry it out w calamine or heal it with neosporin! we never talked about whether it might be a reaction to salt water, extenally or internally. I google images of skin rashes in dogs there are many types, from flea bites to different allergic reactions. I cant help but think an examination would have been insightful. I did return early this week to ask about getting another appointment for an inspection but the tech assistant said that chances are, the vet examined her when she expressed her glands in the back. well, if so why didnt anyone report back to me with any info and TELL ME HOW TO ADMINISTER CARE! I left feeling very frustrarted. ususally when I go to a vet, they hand me printouts of info on care. the Tech just said that I can assume that if the vet didnt mention the rash she expected the shot to be effective. it wasn t; well it reduced the itching, but not the inflamation of the rash. I liked Dr Lawlor but left unrequited 2x. and yur office was the only one left in Newport accepting new patients so I have nowhere else to go.

I understand everyone is understaffed, just appeared that last minute visitors were taking presidents over appointments that were made weeks in advance.

Sadly I had to wait 40 minutes before seeing the Dr. Wait times could use improvement

I was just about to change vet offices when I met the Veterinarian that works Wednesdays and Thursdays. She listened and was very attentive to all my dog s needs. I Will now be staying at this clinic and I thoroughly enjoyed the care provided.

You will be our go to vet while we are on the Oregon coast.

This is my pets vet office for years. I ll be continuing to use this office because they are caring and have all my pets info.

As always everyone was friendly, helpful and professional. They treat Molly very nicely.

Everybody made us feel like we were getting cared for.

Surroundings, difficulty getting appt, and costs are secondary to level of care. We are very pleased with the concern shown for our pets.

It is obvious all these veterinary workers and professionals are desiring and intending to benefit the pets and their people; there is nothing more to be requested or expected.

I believe you and your staff do an amazing job. Yes, you do wait, and no it’s not super easy to get in to be seen, but that is because of the volume of clients needing services, and that is no fault of the staff. Both of the vets I have seen, are good doctors who are marvelously kind. Thank you, I will see you guys again.

New doctor. Never introduced himself. He seemed knowledgeable , but again with this facility since the changeovers, I felt the business was about billing people, not engaging with the owners and their pets. My dog is 15, no personal questions, just shots and billing.

First time. Everyone was great! New in town and very happy .

I am very thankful for you making Bubby feel better but I was disappointed in a couple of things. We were told our estimate would be the most expensive the surgery would be but the actual cost was more. I also would have thought that after a customer pays $1200 for a procedure, you d at least call to check on your patient. Sincerely Dawn Price

I know it s difficult in times of Covid, but you really need more docs and more appointment times. It s clear you are all pushed to the max, but like others, I don t bring my dogs for willy-nilly reasons. Currently, my dog needs surgery and I have no idea when that can happen.

I made 2 appointments online. I received a confirmation for both. When I arrived, all appointments for that day had been canceled. Receptionist said everyone had been notified. Sadly my appointments were never logged in and therefore I didn’t receive the notification. Now I receive a request for a survey. Please get your IT group to fix these bugs. Traveling with cats for an hour for no reason is not acceptable.
