Almost everything was good and I really like the doctor. I was only dissatisfied with whoever clipped my dogs nails. This never happened before. It wasn t till after I left, I noticed there was a lot of blood on one of her paws, it was covered, and a lot on the seat of the car. I called and they said told me to put pressure to stop bleeding or I could bring her back and they would.

Dr. Emerson went above and beyond in caring for Kai. She was gentle, knowledgeable and gave me excellent advice on treatment options

Our dog is very difficult, so this doesn t reflect how awesome it probably was. I just wanted to mention it is difficult for a dog like ours to sit in a waiting room that has nowhere to sit on the floor (our vet at home has a giant dog bed on the floor and soothing music playing which drowns out other dog yowling). Being in the waiting room was a real challenge for our dog because he could hear other dogs that were clearly stressed and because there was really no place for him to be. The floor is slippery and uncomfortable. I only say this as a suggestion. The vet was SO great, and we are so grateful you were able to get us in (and again, our dog is super difficult)

I have two cats but one is younger and tends to wander. The person who set up my appointments was very kind when I told her this. Made me feel so much better since one cat failed to come home that day. We had to wait a while, but I used to work in a doctor s office so know this can t be helped. Anyway, when m roaming cat returns home, I plan to try again. Thank you o much for your understanding.

I called to get an appointment on a Tuesday due to an abscess on my cat. I was told you don’t see animals on Tuesday because it is surgery day. I was given helpful information regarding going to an emergency vet which I would do if it was after hours or the weekend but not on a Tuesday midday. I guess my point is it would be helpful to have half of Tuesday available for urgent veterinarian care.

Great staff and doctor. He does t try to sell you a bunch of crap your dog doesn’t need. My dogs and I love this place. Wouldn’t take them anywhere else.

We have a cat with an autoimmune disease and her health fails very quickly with no notice. The staff of Newport Veterinary Hospital has always been conscientious of getting her in for her injections immediately. Another of our cats is afraid of people and everyone handled him with care not to make him more agitated. The staff always treat us and our animals with kindness and courteousness. The current doctors are willing to answer all our questions and provide new ideas to manage our animals health.

Doctor and staff were friendly and helpful. Answered questions appropriately. Doctor did a complete exam.

Loved this vet! My cat was stressed because of the barking dogs in the waiting room, maybe a side entrance for cats? But LOVED this vet.
