Vet tech was great and friendly. Check in was awful. When I set the appointment I was not informed the office moved. When I arrived I called and was put on hold. As I stood at the door in the cold i watched the front desk person talk to another employee for over 6 min. Horrible customer service, didn’t even look at the door. Could have asked if I was checking in. Simple question. Ended up standing outside for almost 15 min. I have been so happy over the years and now I don’t know if I will return.

You need to take ONE patient at a time. LISTEN to the pet owners. Come out and actually talk to people, not just the phone. Dr. Thomas sucks. Get more experienced veterinarians. Get to know your patients and owners. LISTEN! Sometimes just listening to an owners concerns could save the pet. Again you guys suck, and I’ll be taking my business and my family’s business to a place with empathy and who care. OD pets, then act like it’s whatever. Again you guys suck.

I have been bringing my dog to Mast Blvd for 2 years now and they have gone above and beyond when caring for my 11 year old dog. She was recently diagnosed with mammary cancer and they have truly made me feel like I am not alone in each step that I’ve had to make in getting her treatment. They are by far the best vet in San Diego and I wouldn’t trust taking my dog to any one else!

Be courteous with other people’s time. There’s no respectful reason why someone should wait 15-30 minutes to be seen for an appointment. If you want people to check in 30 minutes early, then communicate those expectations. Also, if someone isn’t lucky enough to get a front row parking spot, they are waiting in the sun since there isn’t any shade.

Everything went well, but I do not like not beIng able to go into the facility and talk face to face wirh the vet....We received a call the day before to ensure we would be there and arrived ahead of time....but we had to wait and then we had to fill out paperwork because we are new here....Why didn t someone tell me to fill out the paperwork online? Overall went well but some down side as listed above....

For the last two prescription renewals I have had to leave messages twice, waiting for a day after the second for a return phone call. With the office visit my husband had to wait for over a half hour before my dog was brought out. I realize the recording says it is short handed since November but the service and definitely below expectations as I have been bringing my dog there since she came to us, 3 1/2 yeas ago.

We were very concerned with the amount of time our dog spent waiting for her procedure to occur. We understand that our animal wasn t the only pet there, but we also assumed that her operation would have occurred as close to her appointment as possible. We took our dog to her scheduled appointment at 8:30 and when we called to check on her at 4:30, we were told the doctor was performing the procedure. This is 8 hours after her scheduled appointment. Our biggest concern is the amount of unnecessary time our dog spent in a place that is scary and unfamiliar. Although this is the only concern/issue we have ever experienced at your location, we do consider it significant. We hope that this is a one-time occurrence as we do like and appreciate the care provided by your facility.
