Dr Huang was unbelievably helpful. She was willing to hear me out and incorporate what was important to me into her treatment for my dog. I will come back specifically because of her. It s nice to have a vet that goes above and beyond!

Dear Medical Team.....I was pleased with the surgery and treatment Teddy Bear received. However trying to get him to swallow the antibiotics and pain pills with bits of meat is impossible. Can t they give liquid meds for dogs, or supply pill pockets with the pills?? Thanks...........Sandra Visco

The service by both the vet assistant and the doctor was excellent. I feel your fees are very high. I expected to write a check for the service. I do not like to use the credit card as I am on a limited monthly income. When the bill turned out to be $400 I asked if I could write a check for $200 and pay the balance in two weeks at the follow up appointment. I was abruptly told no it was full payment at time of service. This was a very unexpected visit and definitely not in the monthly budget. I ended up having to use my credit card. In an area made up of many retired people this policy should be revisited.

I think the service was very good;Dr. Huong is very kind and soff-spoken which is important when dealing with an animal in a stressful setting. However, I feel that your rates are very high and not really comparable with most other pet care centers in Green Valley. If I were to begin looking for treatment for a future pet, I probably would seek out another caregiver, equally competent but less expensive.

My dog was very sick and I couldn t get into my regular vet for many hours and it was going to be considered an emergency visit at $86.00 just for the exam! I called Animal Care Center and explained the situation and they were able to make an appointment to see my dog for 1/2 hour later and it was $55.00 for the exam. They were very kind and the Vet (Dr. Huang) was truly concerned for my dog. She explained everything they could do to diagnose the problem, from treating the symptoms to blood work, xrays, etc. I was then given details of what the different courses of action would cost and it was my choice to decide how to proceed. I NEVER felt belittled because I couldn t afford everything. I chose to treat the symptoms and if my dog did not get better I would come back for the next step. I felt my decision was respected and the staff was supportive and helpful. They also called the next day to check on how my dog was doing. Needless to say, I now will take my dog to Animal Care Center for all of her vet care needs.

We were on vacation in Mexico when our Logan was injured playing ball at the dog sitter s. The dog sitter was a bit frantic and felt awful. He called the office without having our information in front of him. He did not remember our last name. He reported that Jodi took his call and did not receive his call with care. He was in distress and trying to get help for our golden whose tooth had broken off in a collision with another dog. He reported that her demeanor was not helpful and leaned toward: so, what do you want me to do about it . I am not excusing the lack of manners that I am sure the dog sitter displayed when she was nonplused by his urgency for help, but I would like to question her lack of care for my Logan. She is the professional here. She is your face for the public. She is representing the vet care for my animal. She could have asked the dog sitter to calm down, gather the needed information and call back. She did not. She met his frantic distress with rudeness, disdain, and condescension .I have also encountered her coolness when checking in for appointments. Please address this with her. The care for my animal should have been her paramount concern. It was not. Sincerely, Angie Werner

The exam and vaccinations went fine no problems or concerns. The next day we dropped of our poochie for boarding for a couple of days. When we came to pick up our poochie everything seemed ok until we got her home and found she had a high fever, her eyes were severely bloodshot and glassey and she kept going into a hacking / cough spasms. Not sure we want to use the boarding again. The help was outstanding but not sure about the facilities for contracting an illness.
