Even tho the visit was done curbside I felt that everyone was very helpful and friendly. The vet came out to talk to me personally and made sure I didn’t have any questions. The visit went smoothly and didn’t take too long either.

I’m a part-time resident in Rutherfordton, but the team never treats me like I’m an outsider. Everyone at the office goes out of their way to make sure my pups are well taken care of and my concerns are addressed. As a Mom to 3 senior pups, whenever they’ve been sick and I call, the office fits them into the schedule. It gives me peace of mind knowing my pups are in good hands and I have a place to go here if need be.

Unfortunately it was a bit inconvenient with the wait outside (it was hot and humid). Since it was my first time visit it was a bit strange, especially since Melissa was also not quite familiar with the routine. Overall lots of going in and out of building in order to accomplish my requests. I will consider coming back though.

When I arrived for my appointment, someone had made a mistake and only put 1 kitten down even though I had told her I had two kittens that needed their first sets of shots. She was very nice, took all needed information for both cats and confirmed my appointment for them. Once there, whoever answered the phone said it was only for 1 cat and she had no idea what she could do about it, that she would need to talk to the vet to see if the other one could be squeezed in. She then said that even though info was taken for both cats, it didn t mean the appointment would be for both. I told her I was told it would be for both and she had no reply. So. I was pretty much made to feel as if I was trying to sneak in a cat for an appointment I had not made. What I feel should have happened, is that since the issue was because of someone not entering enough information into the computer at the time the appointment was made, whoever I called when I got there should have kept the insinuations that it was my fault to herself and rectified the mistake once I was off the phone. She was upset, acted as if I would not be able to have an appointment that day and there I sat in a hot car with two panting cats on their first car ride waiting to see if I could even have them taken care of that day and that is after waiting over 2 weeks for that appointment. The whole experience started as most unfavorable and this was only my second visit to your hospital. They did take both kittens, the vet came out and discussed everything with me and I liked her very much. It s very hard to get through on the phone because of how busy it is and mistakes are being made because there is not enough office staff. Once I did get through to someone, they should have made sure that what she confirmed to me matched what she had entered into the computer as well. Thankfully, the most important part of the experience, the care of my kittens, was a 5 star event and I will be bringing them back again in the hopes that the bad experience I had was a one time event. Thank you to the vet who cared for the kittens. This was the first time they had seen different humans so I was concerned how they would react.
