We drive our cats from Waimea to see you. They don t enjoy the ride so much, but hopefully they feel the kindness and competence of the people who handle them. Our cat that recently passed away had terrible trips to the vet we used to visit on the mainland. He would bolt around the room, hide in corners, hiss, panic, squirt black fluid from his anal glands and it required extra people to hold him down just to look at the poor beast. Our old vet hospital had well-trained vets and they were kind, but our experience here was so different. I think our old cat might have even liked his visits since they were quick to wrap him in a towel to keep him calm and they knew how to scratch his ears just so. Our two current cats are not nearly as neurotic as the first one we brought to you, but they were handled with kindness too. They also didn t hide under the bed for a week after their visit and they still willingly explore the cat carrier. It s worth the drive! :-)

Kapaau Vet is the best! They have taken care of five of our animals with the best possible results every time and with compassion. Very thorough and always the best possible care!!
