When we went to Midland Animal Clinic, Midland, MI prior to moving to SE Michigan, they always did a complimentary nail trim, which was appreciated. We get our dogs groomed every 3 months or so, and their nails grow quickly. Since Reece’s nails are black and some of Brooklyn’s are, too, it’s difficult to tell where you’ll hit blood when trimming. I did not like the new policy of taking pets in back for blood work and nail trims. I am glad that Dr. Hott did the blood draw in the room and let Matthew take Winne in the back for his nail trim but have to admit that if I was not familiar with the vet tech I would not want him to leave the room.
