We were very impressed with Dr. Amanda Kinnon. She took the time to answer all of our questions thoroughly, and we truly felt listened to. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about our cat, and we left feeling confident and reassured.

Dr.Shiela is always wonderful! Gabby lives her positive, happy tone with her & the treats! She was easier to get in with this time.

Yes, Dr. Carrier does a great job of taking his time explaining things to us and moving slowly with Lumo. The staff and facilities are excellent! We are grateful :)

Dr. Dodson and her technician listened and thoroughly addressed all of my concerns. Their procedures are respectful of animals feelings and greatly reduce anxiety. My doggie was totally relaxed and compliant. Dr. Dodson almost magically resolves his issues.

Dr. Carrier is a total GEM, and I trust him completely work my rabbits health. He also fit me in for an emergency appointment within one day. He and his staff are the best.

My dog received an allergy shot that seems to have done the trick. After many sleepless nights, my dog is only getting up once a night to go out. She is much more comfortable and relaxed. Thank you, Dr. Runnels!

My 13 year old cat is not a fan of coming to the vet, she expresses herself quite aggressively! Over the past two years, she has needed multiple appointments for chronic health issues. I know she doesn’t make her visits easy for the Mariposa team, yet she is still cared for with compassion and kindness!! I’m incredibly grateful for Dr. Runnels presence, care and patience and the entire Mariposa team!!

Dr.Burcham is the absolute best! She really cares about Hazel our Havanese. She always spends great time at appointments and answers all my questions. She really thinks things through for what is best for Hazel. I appreciate her knowledge, expertise and communication so very much!

I am so thankful for the whole team at Mariposa. My dogs have been coming for years, but I’ve just recently begun bringing my parrot. She suffers from some serious chronic illnesses including a deformed beak. This was our second visit to address the issue with Dr Burcham and we made so much progress. The shape of her beak is almost that of a “normal” bird now, which I wouldn’t have believed would be possible for her. I am so thankful for not only the knowledge of the team, but also the kindness and compassion and the commitment to keeping the animals as comfortable as possible.

I signed an estimate in the morning that I believe included the echocardiogram, sedation, and complimentary nail trim. It was to come to about $713-718. On the phone after the echocardiogram was done, Dr. Carrier said he did the complimentary nail trim and then he did a sanitary shave. The shave was NOT on the estimate and I did NOT ask for it. I did not realize at this time that I was going to be charged for it, it was not mentioned on the phone. When I paid the bill, it came to $737.80. I assumed the extra was tax. It wasn t until I looked at the bill in my e-mail that I realized I was charged $30 for a sanitary shave that I did NOT ask for. I was also told that the echocardiogram would be done and she would be ready to be picked up by late morning. I had to call two separate times for an update and was finally able to pick her up at 1pm. I kept being told that Dr. Carrier was in another procedure and had to speak to me before I could pick my cat up, even though she was done and awake. I live atleast 30 minutes away and I could have gone home during the appointment if I knew it would take that long.

Dr. Burcham is the most considerate person. We value our piggies so highly and time and again she finds a way to work them in if there is an emergency. Thank you so much!!

Dr Runnels was amazing and took her time to talk to us and our newly adopted fur baby! She gave us advise on nutrition, behavior, vaccine approach, checked her overall well being, all while being so loving to her. This practice is the new gold, no wait, platinum standard that all vets should strive for!

Dr Carrier is great. He listens and I never leave feeling like I have three heads. He actually gave Quinn a slight adjustment per se and I believe it helped her. She is back on the 2n level of the cat tree and seems to walk with more ease. Hope to have xrays done in a month or so. Thanks!

I always appreciate that Dr. Burcham is very kind but also very honest. It makes it so much easier to make an informed decision about the care of my animals.

Dr Kinnon is so patient, kind, and thorough. She always takes the time to explain things in detail and answers any questions I have. Erin was our vet tech and she was great! She did everything to make my little dog feel safe and comfortable.

I love Mariposa but it IS hard to get in for an appointment in a timely manner. However, their services are wonderful. They went out of their way to accomodate me in a recent procedure so I could be present as much as possible to reduce my dog s stress. Can t say how much I appreciated them for that as my pup was fostered (foster-fail here) due to kennel stress.
