Overall I am happy with the care my dogs receive there. My only issue was I was not told the amount of the total due last Thursday at my appt and was pretty shocked to see it was over 1k!! After looking at the itemized list the plastic containers that Dr Burcham ask if she could just send with me cost me $150. I was very clear with the staff member I saw in the parking lot that I would not be bringing back stool samples. I have a young child and 3 dogs with a large yard and it s winter. So when Dr Burcham asked me if she could just send some containers home I assumed I wouldn t be charged until I returned them. I think that is poor customer service and while I know Dr Burcham DEFINITELY has the best interests in the pets in mind I don t think that should come at a cost of just assuming everyone has 1k to pay for one vet visit.

Both Dr. Runnels and the female assistant who helped out, were very kind, patient and capable.

We always have a wonderful experience with all of the doctors and staff at Mariposa.

Dr. Carrier and his team are truly angels! They keep Hermann, my 14-year-old pup, healthy, happy and truly care about his wellbeing. Hermann would not be here without them. I m so thankful for Mariposa!

I just wish they d stop telling me my indoor cats are fat and to switch to wet food. We don t have the money for that and if my kitties don t have food down in the middle of the night, they are ticked.

I would like to come in with my bird for a one on one time.

I understand that a first appointment can take months, but when your dog is an existing patient, I would think you’d be able to get in sooner. I also think the mask mandate and waiting in your vehicle should be over by now. Everywhere else in JOCO you don’t have to wear them. Other then those things, I think Dr. Dodson is wonderful and the staff is great!

I can’t say enough fabulous things about Mariposa. We switched to Mariposa a few years ago and my only complaint is that I didn’t switch sooner.

Stop the unnecessary procedures for entering the facility and paying the fees. I m happy to wear a mask but its inconvenient to sit in the car to check-in, check out or even stop by just to pick up a prescription. If its safe enough for the delivery person to come and go without calling or wearing a mask, it should be okay for your customers.

Daisys appointment went smoothly. Nurses were so helpful and patient since daisy weighs 70 pounds. Dr. Carrier is wonderful and so carrying with my Daisy. Thank you so much to all at Mariposa Animal Hospital.

I was rather appalled at the bill, I have never paid that much for a check up for my pet even with the lab work. This is really my only complaint but it’s kind of significant. Thank you.

Dr Burcham is very compassionate and is definitely is there for the family pet and the family. I am completely in awe of the care given to see that my pet taken care oF.
