It was a farm call. Dr Amy is awesome. It was the first time I met her and I am so impressed with her. I really liked her manner with my horse Rusty and how she was willing to work with my dog Iliver on a farm call. Great choice in bringing her into the practice!

First time meeting Dr. Amy and her assistant, Barb I think, and I couldn t be happier. Her exam was very thorough and they handled my horses with a lot of care and respect. She answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns and did not rush through the appointment even though it was freezing out with 50 mile an hour wind gusts!!

Leo recovered in response to the antibiotic injection. Cause of lower lip swelling and infection apparently was a self-inflicted wound - he bit himself on the lip eating some tuna.

The veterinarian made several misstatements during the visit. That was a bit concerning and odd. For example she asked why I didn’t want the lepto portion of the vaccine. I wasn’t sure why she thought that. I corrected her. Another example was she said my dog needed to loose weight and needed to get down to 25 lbs. she only weighs 20 lbs. Odd.

We have two cats, both of whom were seen in the past week. One was an uneventful wellness visit, and the other was to have our darling girl put to sleep. Chronic illness had greatly diminished her quality of life, but for three months, the Veterinary team was supportive and helped us to work with her and get some wonderful time together where she was playful and comfortable. When the time came, we knew we had done all that was reasonable. I was so impressed with the respect that the staff offered her. They treated her with such gentle and caring manners. They helped me to understand the process and my options and were so encouraging and non-judgmental. I lost my dearest girl that day and my hear still has a kitty-shaped hole. But I was able to bring her home, help our remaining cat to say goodbye as well and we laid her to rest with a favorite toy. We ve ordered some beautiful catmint to plant as a memorial and are grateful that she was guided out of her pain in a loving way. Thank you kindly.
