This office has always offered top notch vets, vet techs, and front office staff.

The waiting time was 30-40 minutes, which is not fun when you re with two nervous schnauzers, but I totally understand you can t control events before me. So no problem!

I called Saturday morning to get an appointment for my dog who had an ear infection. I was told that the office closed at 12:30, but they could check and see if they could get me in. I was grateful that they could- though this was by no means an emergency. I d have been perfectly fine waiting until Monday for an ear infection. There was no mention of a $60+ surcharge for emergency service. No one was called in special for an emergency and I was out of the office by 1:00. At the end of the visit, the person went over my charges (from the computer) line by line. Funny... they skipped over the emergency surcharge. No mention. Perhaps she suspected I d have an issue since it was never mentioned to me at any point. But, it was not brought to my attention until I was home and looked through the bill. I think its an absurd charge and will dispute merely for the principle of it. I have heard this vets reputation for being overpriced and I think this clearly demonstrates this.

I could not be more please for the care and attention my dog, Jake, has been given. He is old and has a complicated health history and the personal care he has been given has kept him comfortable and healthy. All the doctors are great listeners and caregivers. As are the support staff. My pet is lucky to have such good care.

As a client since 1996, shortly after AMH Glenwood opened, we have probably experienced every canine service they provide so well. A wonderfully professional and caring practice, with an understanding staff.

Only negative comment I would have is that the younger doctors that I have seen recently speak loudly. I understand that it is noisy with dogs barking in the lab and the exam room echoes and maybe, I m just getting old, but I think a softer voice would also calm the pets when they are uncomfortable being at the vet.

Dr. Bernard is wonderful! She and her wonderful assistant did a farm call for my two horses, Beckey and Dodge. She has always been kind and compassionate with my horses, especially Becky, what can I say, she is a mare after all. I always feel like she answers all my questions and addresses all my concerns. She never rushes through the appointment. I have never been to the actual hospital, but judging how I and my babies are treated, I am sure I would give you all 5 stars!!!!!

Over the course of more than 15 years the level of care has always been wonderful- thank you!

Farm Call- Excellent and Professional Gave multiple options for addressing the problem:) Unfortunately I am working all week this week and with Ted s recovering & PT from stroke there is little time to address Jazz s situation- will be back toDr Barnard on next day off.You are so fortunate to have found a vet to add to your practice who shares your high level of knowledge, interest in serving their clientele to the best of attention and professionalism. I don t hesitate at any time in recommending AMH at Glenwood to friends and acquaintances.
