We were very please with our recent wellness visit for Tigger. The front office staff were very welcoming and kind enough to offer our sweet boy a toy for his good behavior. The vet tech was very thorough in checking us in and took the time to make sure Tigger s vitals were just right. Dr. Tony, as always, was great with Tigger and answered any questions we had. We love the small town practice feel in such a large city practice. We will continue to use Blanchard Valley Vet Clinic for all of our veterinary needs.

Dr. Fields was very knowledgeable about my new Lionhead Rabbits, and friendly. Despite my fairly extensive research on the species, he was still able to teach me some practical things about this little creatures that I did not previously know, and he was very amenable to my future scheduling needs, and provided several helpful budgetary options for future treatments. Highly recommended.

Our experience was wonderful! We decided to try a new vet and we are glad we did. We felt the yearly exam was much more thorough and didn’t feel rushed with all the questions we had. Everyone was friendly and we did not feel pressured to get anything additional like we did at our last vet.

In hind sight I think it was completely unnecessary to do the skin test on my guinea pig. Either way he was going to get revolution. Its not just about the money he was in pain for no reason. Is how it feels. That being said to be fair the doctor did tell me its best to treat regardless. I guess im just unsure then why you still do a skin test. Everyone is extremely extremely nice tho. I can tell everyone is passionate about helping animals. Appreciate that you are even willing to see pocket pets.

We arrived 15 minutes early and then waited almost 15 minutes past our appointment time. I also was charged $35 for a fecal sample for each dog when I didn’t even bring one to the appointment. It shouldn’t be charged until the sample is brought in. Also, $20 per dog for a nail trim is ridiculous! Also, I have no clue about vaccinations for dogs and there needs to be more education about these, not just your dog is going to get this, this and this.
