I waited in 90+ degree heat with my car running for 45 minutes for my pet to even go in the building. My appt was scheduled for 3p, and we didn’t get in until almost 4p. While I completely understand the new normal everyone is getting used to, that was 45 minutes I could’ve been working. Also, when I called to say we were there, the person answering the phone said, “as soon as they get a room ready.” A more accurate wait-expectation would’ve been appreciated. Love you all, and the staff, and the vets; but waiting 45 minutes for your appt to start is very inconvenient.

As always everyone at Combs’s treats my pups and myself with the utmost respect and care. I thank everyone for all the help you have given us over the years.

wait is difficult with miss barksalot but i d rather be safe and deaf than catch the dreaded virus. also, i love combs vet clinic. smart, friendly and helpful folks. i trust you, wish you were my doctors!

This was a totally different experience as I am used to being in the exam room with my dog. I m glad she was very good though. I want to add that whoever answered the phone on June 2, was extremely helpful and courteous. She took the time to help me with my dog who had been vomiting. Again, the person who answered the phone on June 16, helped me again with the return of her vomiting. I can t thank these caring individuals enough. And praise to the vet tech who got her each time from the car.

Dr. Nickels is the best! Love her. Due to COVID-19 safety precautions, we couldn t come inside with our pet, but Dr. Nickels took a video of our pet and sent it to us while we waited. This was a very thoughtful and personal touch.

Did not go in office

I had an appointment at 10:30am. I arrived 15 minutes early. I had to wait outside or in my car for 2 hours (12:30) for my appointment. I am STILL not allowed to accompany my dog in the building. This is very traumatizing for him. I usually have very good experiences here, but this one was not.

Combs is excellent for every question. When people on FB ask where to go, I always tell them Combs definately.

We appreciate the kindness and respect that we have always received from all of the staff at Combs. We want to send a VERY BIG THANK YOU !!!

Best veterinarian place, staff is friendly and kind and helpful, I get asked who is Kades vet, I tell them Comb Veterinarian Clinic on 45 Bloomfield rd, convenient and never had problems with them, the vets are nice and take pride in what they do, and communication is great, akways answered my questions and gives great advice. Thank you so much for beinging there for my beautiful Kade.

We decided to call Combs because our regular vet was unable to get our dog in for an ear infection, and our “virtual” appointment that was scheduled on a Thursday had not yet happened by the following Monday. I was relieved and a little shocked when I called Combs Monday and was offered an appointment the following day. I was a bit nervous about not being able to come in with my sweet dog, but was definitely put at ease when Dr. Miller (I believe that was her name) called me. I knew immediately that she cared about Rudy, and she did not appear to be rushed as she explained what would be best for his ongoing allergies and ear infections. I am impressed, and we will be back! Thank you for taking care of my fur baby!

I called when I got there, the call went to the machine, so I left a message. I waited 15 minutes, so I called again. She said she was the only one there, so she was glad I called the 2nd time; she hadn t had time to hear any messages.
