I wish sometimes there was one extra vet or a extra tech or couple extra spaces left open during the day in case something happens with one of your clients pets. We’ve had issues where our cat ended up with a wonky eye (conjunctivitis) or ear infection and we called and couldn’t be seen for a week or week and a half because there were no spots. We ended up having to call jester plaza to get him in the next day. We prefer to use only y’all for our vet for the last 8 years and hate we have to have a backup vet in case something comes up that’s not schedule-able like a shots or blood work but not quite an emergency to warrant a trip to Vergi or Gulf Coast. We love that y’all have the walk in Saturday’s because we’ve used that a lot over the past 8 years because our pets like to have issues Friday nights haha. Other than that, we love love love you guys and how y’all care for Squirrel, Ruby and Fat Chuck who had a Cystotomy yesterday by Dr Green which I haven’t met but already love her! Y’alls entire team is the BEST around.

Both the tech Abby and Dr. Crocker were fantastic with Lagniappe. Both are always extremely thorough, give great explanations and are very gentle and caring with Lannie

The staff at Oak Forest Veterinary are 5 star. They provide me with such piece of mind knowing my dog, Chica is well taken care of. Not only was I impressed with my first time visit, Chica came bounding out from her appointment all chipper and happy!

My little Riley, small male Havapoo, had a very upset stomach. I was so pleased that your clinic would accept him on such short notice; particularly, after such severe weather circumstances (the devastating winter storm/freeze). I know you were trying diligently to see your regular patients, but your team was kind enough to take on a new patient. Your services were absolutely wonderful. We called with an emergency 2/11/2021. Buddy had a bone lodged in the top of his mouth too far back to reach. This had a potential to be fatal had he inhaled or swallowed it. The staff immediately arranged for us to bring him even though the schedule was booked. Thank you Dr Nelson, you not only saved one life but four lives. Oak Forest Vet has been our veterinary since 1991 and have always been my recommendation. Thank You, Martin Johnson
