Vet went with most extreme solution of dental surgery saying antibiotics wouldn’t help vs let’s try some less drastic first. Time vet spent didn’t reflect a very thorough exam. For $75 I expected more

Every one of staff are extremely great.?? ??

They again took great care of my English Bulldog Bubbles while doing ear hematoma surgery. However I did think they released her too early to me as she had difficulty walking (ftom waking up from surgery) so I had to carry her to the car. I wish they would ve let her stay relaxed in their office another hour or 2.

The entire staff was awesome. I felf they really took good care of my dog and the communication was awesome.

Overall, 3/5. We are prescribed an optic abx ointment for our dog, however what was given to us was an optic suspension abx drops. This is a medication error, and is a safety issue. Luckily, ointment vs drops isn’t a major difference and was resolved by speaking with another vet that gave the additional instructions for use, but different efficacy and, none the less, an error. Worrisome for other potential medication errors that could be fatal. Labeling issue as the RX label was placed over the label of the box that shows the actual medication. Some staff friendly, while others seemed bothered by visit. Floor was wet with unknown substance prior to entering, and staff cleaned while walking us in for visit.

I think if I’m going to pay $187 for vet care I should be able to see a vet

I was not happy when my dog was in pain after I got home from picking her up the sedation was wearing off. I called to get pain medication for her and the person acted like I came in for a toe nail clip. I explained the situation and was told she would pass the message along but it would be 24hours before I could hear back. Only because I was angry did she go and do a verbal with the doctor who prescribe pain medication. To say the employee can’t talk to the dr or someone in the back is insane. I was moments away from saying I would never come to Mast again. A vet that doesn’t care isn’t a very good image. I would suggest better training and thought process on that policy.

I had no problem with my visit at all. My appointment was made the same day, and they billed me what was promised.

I would suggest the music in front lobby be turned down to a “background” level. I was trying to settle my bill and receive instructions for home care and the loud volume of music was so distracting, and this is an issue that is super annoying for older people who may have hearing issues.

Suggest fecal and blood test without the higher cost testing until the results warrant them

Mast vet care is and has been very professional and helpful with Max, my dog.I want to thank everyone there and I refere any one that needs help and care for their animal.

I always feel like there are unnecessary tests done. I knew what my dog had and I needed a simple prescription. I get being seen was needed since there was no prior history of the diagnoses with this pet but the extra test was not justified. I was not asked if there was any injury to my knowledge or given the option to forgo the test. Not only did I feel like the vet was condescending I felt like a simple quick visit was not only pricey but I felt like I was being judged.

I came back to you guys cause your prices were decent, but then you moved and I feel the prices are quite up there compared to what they used to be ,so that part is disappointing. it makes it difficult to own pets.

My dog had dental cleaning and some teeth pulled, and I had received pills for her mouth for antibiotics. It was hard to get her mouth open. I didn’t like that I had to pry her mouth open after she had teeth pulled. Recommendation give liquid antibiotics. She had liquid pain medication. It was very easy to give to her so liquid antibiotics would be great.

Noticed two different bill amounts for same procedure. Was corrected. Would have liked to know ahead of time what after care to expect.
