The staff and Veterinarians are always very friendly. They treat my dog with great care and always explain anything new. I am so grateful for their care of Gabby. She has been treated by them for 15 years and I recommend them to my friends.

Excellent service

Ive been coming to Mast hospital for years, and this is the first time I’ve had any issue. I saw Dr. Powers (I believe was her name…) for the first time this week and I was very disappointed in her care. She was very rude and lacked compassion, she made me feel stupid for asking very basic questions and was very un-empathetic to my concerns regarding my dog’s health in his old age. The appointment felt awkward and Dr. Powers truly made me feel as if I was not a good dog owner for not being able to afford expensive testing at this time. I spoke to staff about the appointment and the people at the front desk were great, rescheduling me free of charge with a different doctor. Our tech, Betza, was wonderful and very apologetic. She was the only positive about this vet visit. I will come back to Mast, but I will NOT see Dr. Powers again ever.

My dog passed away

Honestly, I would like to share this in preparation with other owners. I want to take their babies here. I felt very blindsided. I went in to get a suture removal. They came back saying that everything was wrong with needed a culture and infection. My total went from $50 to 600. I started to have a panic attack and I feel like no one cared or was trying to help me then they proceeded to try and charge me when I asked for my dog back charge me for what a wound cleaning. I did not ask for a wound cleaning nor did I need it. The receptionist there was very nice. I wish I got her name, but she was trying to explain to me That they could put me in a room and I could talk it over. I wanted nothing to do with that place I was having a panic attack and anxiety attack and I just wanted to get out of there so I paid the stupid $60 even though they didn’t do anything and I left to whoever that receptionist lady is she wears glasses and is blonde. She was so nice and I think you are not as appreciated as you should be you deserve a raise you calmed me down during my panic attack and I appreciate you. I will have to say I won’t be no longer going to mass Boulevard Pet Hospital.

I have only used Mast for close to 8 years. I would not go anywhere else. I am so grateful for the care they have taken with my pets.

There should be some type of sound dampening in the lobby area, it is extremely noisy and irritating when people are talking and trying to hear instructions.
