I was extremely impressed with the professional manner in which your staff function! Dr. McGinty took great effort in listening to us about our dog s health. He played with our dog during the exam. That was awesome! I was relieved to find a clinic where I could entrust my dog s health.

I appreciate how Dr. Saunders called me with updates on how Zoey was doing during the teeth cleaning process. I would also like to recognize Jessika, Veterinary Technician - she is awesome. When Zoey came in for teeth cleaning, this was the second time we have had Jessika working with Zoey. Jessika is very good at caring for Zoey, she is very thorough and thoughtful in her explanations of things, and she has a bright, positive attitude.

Dr Petersen is great. Appreciate everything. JGU

Recently one of my dogs had to be put to sleep, a few months later when my other dog gets sick and we couldn t figure out was wrong, Dr McGinty really made me feel better by not only remembering what I went through a few months before but also understanding why a sick dog was hard for us. All the Dr are truly caring and want the best for your pet and you!

After having spent the past few years at another vet and the service becoming increasingly worse, Petersen Pet Hospital was a breath of fresh air and just the place we were meant to find for the end of life care our beloved pet deserved. We had been with our vet in Michigan for almost 30 years. We felt that they actually cared about our furry family members, and us during our grieving process after losing one. When we moved here to Iowa, after visiting several offices I had begun to lose hope when trying to find a vet s office comparable to our Michigan vet. I am so very happy with everyone we have seen here, the care that is shown to our pets and to us, the cleanliness of your office, it really feels like home. Couldn t be happier!!!

Petersen Pet is THE BEST vet I have been too! Dr. McGinty is absolutely wonderful, very caring, pleasant, and truly compassionate about his work (and my pets!). He always greets my family and pets as if they are his own, and makes us feel welcome. Cannot say enough good things about him! Also, the assistant staff is helpful, always smiling and assists me with all my fur babies, as well as human babies :-) thanks so much guys!!
