Saw a flyer @ Crossroads Ag. Things were very chaotic. There was no organization to the check in process. Had staff arrived earlier & setup been complete before appointment times, things would have run much more smoothly. Some organizers/volunteers were abrupt to the point of rudeness. Vet Alex was wonderful. Really appreciate the great prices so you can afford to help your animals.

We have used AWS in the past. We originally found them through an ad in the Winterset Madisonian.

They were very friendly and helpful. They took time to answer the questions and concern I had about my kitten. I would recommend them to anyone that would ask.

Was very pleased with the experience. Will definitely be using the Tom cat neuter again if possible. Only complaint I would have was my cat had something stuck to his long fur. Upon inspection, I was shocked to see it was literally one of his testicles. We were slightly grossed out but in the end laughed about it. Other than that everything was great!

I greatly appreciate this service and the affordable prices. The tech behind the desk,however, was rude to my granddaughter and actually made her cry. I was very disappointed to see an adult talk to a child in such a manner.

I was disappointed in the wait time. I had a 9:00am and 9:45 appointments. I came back at 5 and my poor kittens had not been spade or neutered yet. The poor things sat all day in their small pet carriers. Had to wait till 6 to pick up my kittens. I was happy to have this service, but dissapointed that my kittens had to wait so long.

I heard about this clinic from the Boone Community Facebook page. Our first issue was that there were no directions or address on the website for where to go. We had to call the number to find out where the clinic was located. Once we arrived, everyone was nice and helpful, but the entire experience was very unorganized. We were one of the first ones to drop off our animals in the morning before 9am. When we came to pick up at the specified time (5pm), our animals were still in surgery. While I understand that delays can happen (especially in a medical setting), the communication and organization was seriously lacking. We didn t feel like we received any instructions or counseling on post-surgery care (as first time pet owners, we weren t sure of specifics on this). After we paid and left with our animals, we realized the paperwork for our rabies shots had been entered for the same animal on 2 different sheets. This caused us to have to return to get it fixed. All in all, we ended up waiting over 2 hours to be able to take our animals home after the designated pick up time. We had young children with us and traveled from another town to the clinic. I just wish that if there was a delay that someone would have called us to tell us to come at a later time. I feel like this clinic is a valuable asset to the community and has so much potential to be great. Maybe there would be a way to streamline drop-off and pick-up by having multiple stations set up (ie one for paperwork, one for payment, etc) and to stagger drop-off times/appointments. It would also be helpful if the paperwork was all filled out/signed before the owners came to pick up and set on top of that pet s kennel. That way, all the owner would have to do is find their animal and pay.

Had our dog neutered. Later in the day his scrotum became very enlarged. Had to call back to see if that was normal or if there was an issue. Great price. In and out in a timely manner. Only suggestion was to go into more detail about possible complications. The pamphlet given did not address this.

They did a great job taking care of my yippie, even referred me to a great local vet for my follow up appointments

Unorganized but did a great job

Our puppy was in his crate at the facility for 5-6 hours before surgery, which is very unnecessary. I selected an appointment time for him online (9:05am) that was not true to the situation. Appointments should be scheduled throughout the day. If someone can t drop off at their appointment time, then they could leave them there all day. We should have been informed and given a choice.

I thought the check in process was a complete cluster. I had questions and it appeared that no one had a bit of time to talk to me and answer a few quick questions. Same at check out.

Great staff that made it easy and enjoyable to get vaccinations and micro-chipping. The vet on staff, Alex, did a great job with our dog and answered all of our questions. Affordable prices and a crew who are passionate about their mission.
