I am so happy we found Dr Fisher and his office. Everyone is so nice and helpful. We love the small office feel and are comforted that out dog is not just a number.

After very frustrating and disappointing experiences with two other vets, both my dog and I have finally found someone who is a great fit! We came to this office for the first time this week for an annual check up. The telltale sign was how calm and comfortable both my dog and I felt with Dr. Fischer and his staff. They are professional and kind. Dr. Fischer took the time to listen and explain things thoroughly. My dog sensed the safe and compassionate environment instantly. She wasn’t shaking as she always had at prior vets’ offices. She sat quietly while we talked and throughout her exam. She even licked Dr.Fischer’s face! The only time she whimpered was when we had to be separated for a few minutes while they drew a couple drops of blood for her test. The fact that there was a waiting list of 25 other pets when I initially called, tells me that he is in high demand. I can see why! A few weeks later, they called back, which was a lot sooner than I expected. I’m beyond thrilled to have found Dr. Fischer for my fur baby!

Dr. Fischer is an extraordinary caregiver for both the patient and, in our case, her people parents.

Inasmuch as the staff out front know which dogs are coming in on a given day at a given time, they might consider saying, Oh, Hi, [Bandit], how are you today? (At least on routine, non-threatening visits. I ve had many vet recommendations, but I tell everyone, Hillsdale Animal Hospital. Many thanks!

Dr. Fischer has taken care of all three of our dogs through the years. We live an hour away and still cannot be convinced that we could find another vet as good as Dr. Fischer. We love how he looks at issues with a much wider lens that most vets and works together with you to get to the root of an issue rather than just throwing meds at the problem as a first and only solution. He is the best around!

The staff was very helpful and compassionate, as usual. Dr. Fischer spent as much time before and after Felicity s exam and x rays to go over her symptoms, food, supplements and answer my questions/address my concerns. He have me guidance regarding her care/change in diet. I was extremely thankful and he eased my angst/worries about her urine results.
