We have never had a bad experience and love all the vets, our dog is at ease with the staff and Dr. Poling is incredible..She is usually the one who we see and takes her time to answer all our questions and concerns. In fact she called our home with an idea about our dogs anxieties that she thought might help! Talk about dedication!!! Kudos to the entire staff for their devotion and excellent care- would never go anywhere else. Love that there are hours on weekends when mostly when there are limited options to be seen expediently!

Great first impression for my dog and I.

My dog s eye injury was emergent, but not urgent so we got an appointment first thing the next morning. When Dr.Putkonen saw him, and knew my dog would have to be put under for a proper exam, but needed to be NPO, he scheduled an appointment for after hours the next day. His care and the staff was outstanding, informative and complete. I ve always experienced excellent care for my pets here with Dr. Putkonen, Dr. Poling and Dr. Olive, but this time they went above and beyond. I will continue to bring my pets here and recommend other animal owners to Avon Animal and Bird Hospital.

I appreciate more than I m able to put into words how great they are with my Goldens; how intelligent, efficient, patient, and understanding they are; and most importantly how I feel when we leave that I ve provided my pets the best care they can get.

Dr. Poling is just wonderful. She always takes time to really get to know us and our pets and remembers details from one visit to the next. We really appreciate her attentiveness and care.

We love Dr. Olive and Dr. Martii! We have two coonhounds that are obnoxious and loud and Dr. Martii is so patient with them!

I was very impressed with the wellness exams my cats had. I felt Dr. Putkonen was very thorough, and things were explained to us very well in a way we could understand. The doctor and staff were friendly and kind. We also appreciated the short wait time before the appointment.
