2 comments. Dr. Schott was spectacular. Her vibe is as if her hands have their own brain - she works with assurance & intuition, even while talking. She reminds me of a MASH surgeon. My only negative comment, as an RN of almost 40 years, and someone who has had plenty of IV s, is that when you are going to give a straight IV med, be careful & thoughtful about finding the vein & inserting the needle. It is very distressing to watch someone just put the needle in, then scissor in and out repeatedly until they get flashback. When someone pulls & pushes the needle as if the recipient of those actions doesn t feel anything, it makes me wonder if they have any idea or care that they are making tiny knife cuts each time. A tech is not a nurse or doctor. I don t know if they qualify as phlebotomists . But If I saw a practitioner do that to a human, I d insist they stop & find someone else more qualified and/or respectful. Mostly, though, I really love this practice.

Dr. Hallam-Smith is fantastic. The vet tech’s and staff, as well as the front office folks are all very good at what they do. There is a definite standard in this practice which everyone who works there adheres to: thorough, client-centric, highly sensitive to your pet and warmth. Roxy & I thank you.

I had a potential emergency with my dog who never visited this facility. The staff immediately scheduled an appointment same day and they accepted credit care and insurance. The staff was great with my “Molly” and could not have had a better experience. This will now be a goto for my local Vet! Thank you so much!

The staff at Tri State is fantastic. Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable.

Other than the normal 20 minute minimum wait time once you arrive the facility is great. Dr. Salty is absolutely wonderful, friendly, compassionate, professional yet down to earth and is fantastic with my fur babies. Wish i had found her sooner. The staff is very accomodating and you never feel rushed.

I have had 2 experiences with Tri-State. The first experience was bringing my dog TobeyHannah to be put down. Tobey was treated gently and kindness which was a comfort to me. Then about two weeks later, my dog Cagney had lost her appetite and was coughing a lot. The staff at Tri-State took us in in less than 24 hours. The doctor and staff were also extremely gentle with Cagney who has been considered difficult by other vets and several groomers and were thorough with their examination and testing. Cagney took this entire event very well which is unusual for her -- for such a tiny bundle, she is generally pretty ferocious. I m extremely grateful.
